I just re-downloaded FM24 for a fresh start and although i see this tactic as the most commented and possibly the one with more success, if i look at Knap«s sheet on the FM24.4 M#24.w tab and sort it by score, the highest score tactic is the HGF 4231 MC SLO P112 ALL CUPS (file unavailable in the available link). Im starting with a 2nd division portuguese club and was wondering after all which would perform more stable. Formation wise i would prefer the 4231 but seeing the results from this 424 kept me wondering.
