The tactic started as amazing, a truly dominant football (even against stronger opponents like PSG) and fun to watch the highlights.
But suddenly, highlights don't contain my team anymore, defence and build up is terrible, even victories are slight margin and getting terrible results against weaker teams. The fun to watch matches are gone and it is always stressful.
Any idea on what is wrong? Tactical knowledge, position/role are all full, training, morale, sharpness, team cohesion, everything is perfect.
By the way, managing one of the top 2 clubs in the league, and all transfers are done according to this tactic with a solid line up.
Attaching the unbeatable run vs the sluggish run lately for comparison Expand
There is a massive amount of bias given to weaker teams.
Updates can destroy form. Usually playing badly, rather than being unlucky, is a management issue. There has been a bug that if you rest players they go on transfer list. If you can see if you can hold a team meeting.

However, after 9-10 games I just start losing games every week even though morale and sharpness are perfect for everyone. Really not sure why this keeps happening.
I just went from winning at Bernabeu with Betis original squad from 2025 to losing 6-1 to Lille and it could have been 10. Same tactics, everything absolutely the same. I think the tactics in FM24 way were more consistent. Expand
1. Does a back 3 work better than a back 4 this year (fm26)? Why?
2. All the top tactics seem to have a very low defensive line, why? This is definitely a change from last year
3. What would you recommend (for this tactic and similar) if chasing a game?
4. Related to question 3. These are amazing, counter attacking attacks....what do you recommend as your best pressing attack? Why are these (deep, counter attacking tactics) so superior this year? Expand

Change both WBs to stay wider on this set up

Most tests are here, but also on my OP on SI Forum
