sibelius said: I think it's the "narrow" width. I was using the early versions of the 424 Classic (by Gianaa9) a month ago, and it was working well. For some reason, these guys tested the tactic with narrow width and it apparently fared better -- but that's not the case when you're playing. I used the newer narrow versions with the same squad and it struggled to create or score, especially when you're facing AI teams with 3 at the back (Serie A has lots).
When I switched to Katana or GrassFury or BoxLevante, I started winning again immediately. Then I tried the narrow 424 again, it slumped once more (even on a positive mentality)
BUT... when I went back to old "fairly wide" 424 classic, results were a bit better. Hence my deduction. Expand
The tactic was very inconsistent for me (15 years plus experience on FM so no noob) I moved the width to fairly wide and results instantly improved.
Though i am aware that the players you have will impact results but the above worked massively for me.
I would love to see how this tactic scores with `fairly wide` selected.

Great tactic! I am really enjoying watching the football flow with this tactic. It has made me enjoy watching the ME again. Liverpool in my second season and i have won every game so far. (Granted i am Liverpool but it playing really well!)
Speaking of Kevin Keegans Newcastle i feel that is exactly the way to build tactics in this years FM. I am by far a tactical genius i have had to download tactics to win anything each year but this FM i have created three tactics that i win 3-0 plus every game simply by putting 5 plus players on attack.
I will install this tactic for the new upcoming season on my save. Which position would you sacrifice if you was to go down to ten men? Interested to see how the wingers perform as 90% of tactics that work brilliantly are set to defensive wingers.
Deciding to use the 3-4-2-1 tactic. First half in the very first game and the advance forward has scored a hat trick, very promising and will continue to update.
I have just this very moment finished the German Super cup, i blitzed Bayern M 5-0!!! 3 goals from the strikers, 2 from the AMC...i better get shopping for some strikers haha! Brill tactic so far, next time im in Bolton i`ll buy you a pint haha.
I have just plugged this tactic in my save, currently in 2036 so i have an absolute beast of a side....won my first game 8-0 with all 8 goals coming from the wingers. Is this where the majority of the goals come from with this tactic?
Sorry for the constant uploads im new Third match with the lib and the third match in a row hes scored over 7 rating!!...i think my tweak may achieve this tactic a 7.3 rating on Arena
