Hey ZaZ & Co. After a longer break, i could play the FM23 again, switched from Water 4.2 to Water 6.0 with my Hertha Save (1st season). The first half of the season was sensational, 2nd place behind Bayern Munich.
So after the winterbreak my team kinda went out of form for a few matches, lost 2 in a row, 3-4 drows but still an awesome season. In the end, i reached place 3 in my 1st season with Hertha BSC, low financial budget (which will be better next season because Champions League etc.).
My new mexican striker Jose Juan Macias came at January from Deportivo Guadalajara for 3.9 Million €, scores 15 goals and 3 assists in 16 matches. And is now about 26-29 Million € worth.
Also my striker Kangahad a superb season (20 goals in 30 matches, 7 Assists!). 3rd best Striker in the Bundesliga in his 1st season.
I also got Amiri from Leverkusen for 2.7 Million € because i needed a flexible winger, especially on the left side but yeah..maybe i gonna sell him because he is mostly a backup. He is now 7-8 Million € worth but maybe i will still wait for the first half of the 2nd season and hope he will have more impact (which i doubt).
I signed two talented striker for the next season. To make pressure on Kanga and also get the option to maybe sell Macias for 30+ Million € and have a win of 25+ Million €. We will see. The new coming strikers are the 20y old german striker, Maximilian Beyer (9 Mio.€, very fast, overall good stats) and Adam Hlozek from Leverkusen (5 Mio.€, 20y, very fast, overall good stats, similiar to Beyer).
Also Fabricio Diaz, 20y, young defensive midfielder from FC Liverpool (Uruguay) who can also score and is overall good for his age. Maybe not the greatest talent but for only 2.6 Million € a very good deal. Also i will probably sell 1-2 defensive midfielders from my team. We will see.
I could also transfer a handfull of talented young players for the next season, without spending money (Hertha is kinda poor in the 1st season, like in reality).
Here 2 Screenshots from my superb 1st season with Hertha BSC. Water 4.2 for the first 25+ league matches, Water 6.0 after. We shot themost goals in the league (77), had the player with the highest average note (Macias - 7.53), had the most goalchances in the league (174) and also most fouls...660.

One question about Water & the offensive winger. How i understand this type of position is like they are searching to go inside and even trying to shoot on goal, right? So, when i got a left-footed winger on the right side, it would be better or not? Because they can shoot it into the long-corner of the goal and coming from the right side of the pitch, so left footed are (like Robben in his prime) in advantage or not?
I mean its the Football Manager, so it somestimes doesn´t make sense but yeah..just asking if it would better to have left footed player as right winger and the other way on the left side.

Wow, 54* on Fire 3.0. Congratz bro . You chose the more diffcult path for tactics this year. I really like your mindset of football, your tactics, so i´m still playing them with my Hertha BSC team.
So far, as a FootMan Veteran who invest alot of time to setup his team, training etc., i kinda have it more difficult too, to get the results (with your tactic) like i´m used to from the other FMs. BUT...i mean...come on..when the media expectation is place 13 and after 11 matches i´m place 1..its still f*cking superb.
Most goals, most matches without loss, most fouls (...), most chances, player with the most goals, assists..it´s complete "fine"..hehe*
So, i´ve tested only your Fire-Tactic since beginning and you could clearly see the Fire 2.4 was really on fire to some point. Then switched to Fire 2.5 which resulted in 2 draws + 1 lucky win in overtime vs 2nd league HSV at the german cup. It didn´t felt good even there wasn´t much changes + time should be too short to take a conclusion. After the switch to Fire 3.0, 5:1 vs Schalke.
But we will see what the future will bring to us, Hertha BSC. I can clearly see the weakpoint in my team. Pace, Striker (still), LW, CB - maybe even CAM.
tbh, i really don´t expect to be this high in the league table and would be super happy for an international qualification. Bayern, Dortmund, Leipzig etc. are so damn good and after my next game vs Werder Bremen (a) i have to play vs the Monster Bayern.

Tough Football Manager for tactic creators like ZaZ. Startet a complete fresh new save with my favourite club Hertha BSC. Its a lower team with 2-3 good, fast player like Serdar, Lukebakio and talented youngsters like Gechter, M. Dardai, alot of Oldies like Kevin Prince Boateng, Jovetic, Pekarik. I transferred Amiri (ZOM) from Leverkusen to us (2,5 Mio.€), sold Selke and Darida for about 3+ Mio.€.
So overall alot of stuff to do the next 1-2 seasons, because also financially also pretty low.
Startet the season with a ez 5:1 win vs an amateur-club FV Engers at the german cup. Won 3-0 vs Union Berlin (Derby), first league match. 4:1 at home vs Frankfurt, Kanga (my striker) 5 goals in the first 2 league matches. 0:1 away vs Gladbach, deserved. Kanga injured...
3:2 (home) vs Dortmund, what a fight. 1 man less, red card... 2:0 win in Augsburg, who hadn´t a good league start. Had to change my offensive. And then the home match vs Leverkusen..
What a good game..literally almost perfect. Beautiful goals, plays...the tactic is working.
After 6 league matches, 5w - 1l, 2nd place..what a start. Looking forward. Had alot of injuries and condition problems at the end of the matches, because high intense but yeah.
I guess there are better tactics but i like this style of football more and i know this will get harder over time this season, so i´m looking forward for the next season and plan to change the team, hopefully will reach top5-6 places to get into international business, to make some money.
Thanks alot so far ZaZ. A "light" Version (for 3+ goal leads), maybe a "defensive" Version would be great. I mean, we can change that (-> counter etc.) for ourselves but yeah..we need your magic. ;-P

So, as always, playing with Hertha BSC (Bundesliga) and first 11 league matches + cup are played. So far, so pretty good. Sure, the defensive feels a little bit loose but its also because of the kinda low defenders/players. 7 wins/2 draws/2 losses. My striker Kanga, 12 matches, 14 goals, best scorer in league so far. Here some screenshots from Blue 4.0, later changed to Fire 0.2.

I finally finished my 1st season and wow, what a rollercoaster. Bayern was so damn strong and Lewandowski 37 Goals in the Bundesliga. Last Bundesliga game day... I`ve lost (a) 4:6 to Dortmund (Haaland is such a beast..went for 200+Mio. to PSG, when Mbappe went for 0€ to Bayern next season)...had 0 chance (1st season with Hertha) because of Injuries and yeah..player were nervious af.
BUT...Bayern also lost 2:3 (a) to Wolfsburg, so i still won the Bundesliga with only 1p+.
My team had an awesome run with a 4:2 (h) win vs Dortmund, 7:3 win (h)@the german cup vs Dortmund (what a match!), 3:1 (h) win vs Leipzig, 6:2 (a) win vs Gladbach, 5:2 (a) vs Leverkusen etc. But at the final phase of the season, it was getting harder to win. 1:0 vs Mainz, lucky. 1:0 vs Union. 1:0 vs Bielefeld. 0:2 vs Stuttgart.
Bayern went out in the german cup, so it was kinda "easy" after i beat Dortmund 7:3 and then RB Leipzig in the quarterfinal, 113. Min, Gnonto 2:1! Stuttgart in the half-final 1:0, should be a way higher score for us. Bielefeld in the final 3:2, my OMEGA-Talent Brenner(Brazil, young talent 22y, BUY HIM!♥) with a hattrick.
So far, this 1st season was overwhelming good and my squad is pretty good for the 2nd season, even when i will try to sell 3-4 players.
Also the first 2 matches (German-Supercup + 1st League-Match) were already played and it looks promising.
I still don`t had so much impact on the corners, idk why. My CD have good header-stats but yeah. Let`s check the 2nd season. So far, great tactic, again ZaZ. Thx and stay safe everyone. ♥

Guys....normally i wouldn`t post in Threads like these because there is a TON of Propaganda on BOTH sides ("West"-"East" ) trying to influence the normal people and "discussing" in the internet is kinda difficult imo.
I just want to say, that there are many, many different reasons (global-politically thinking) for this and other wars. Putin`s red line is and was Ukraine, which was clear since end of 2013 and the coup, Nuland ("f*ck the EU" ), Maidan (Sniper..), NATO`s spreading into the east. An attacking war under lies (like the USA and part of Europe did in the past, Iraq, Libya, Jugoslavia) is always wrong and should be punished.
WE...the normal people...the non-elites are suffering under it AND get outplayed by interest-groups (big business, politics, some media) to go on each other and dont focus on part of our governments, who are responsable for many wrong things. WE...normal human beings who just want to work, get paid, dreaming for a better future, are conditioned to sheeps in many cases.
All i want is FREEDOM for everyone who wants to live and dont want to hurt other people. It`s not important which religion, sexuality someone has IF it is private and not ideological, political. Don`t get outplayed by all these different powers and try (!) not to think in GOOD, BAD...in black and white. There are so much greyzones in between and Oligarchs in Ukraine, Russia, Sheikhs in UA, Qatar, Politicians in France, Germany, UK, USA & Co are only for the Elites...not for US... ..the normal people.
WE..the people are suffering from death, losing our sons at the fronts in war. NOT THEM!

I have to start a new career with my Hertha. ^^ There is the Winter Update + i made mistakes at the beginning of my save (missed training, changed it too late etc.). I mean, the 3.3 Winger etc. were 1st season brutal good. Didn`t even finished the save, could be even league winner (3p behind, 4-5 matches left).

So far, this 1st season was overwhelming good and my squad is pretty good for the 2nd season, even when i will try to sell 3-4 players.
Also the first 2 matches (German-Supercup + 1st League-Match) were already played and it looks promising.
I still don`t had so much impact on the corners, idk why.
My CD have good header-stats but yeah. Let`s check the 2nd season.

I just want to say, that there are many, many different reasons (global-politically thinking) for this and other wars.
Putin`s red line is and was Ukraine, which was clear since end of 2013 and the coup, Nuland ("f*ck the EU" ), Maidan (Sniper..), NATO`s spreading into the east.
An attacking war under lies (like the USA and part of Europe did in the past, Iraq, Libya, Jugoslavia) is always wrong and should be punished.
WE...the normal people...the non-elites are suffering under it AND get outplayed by interest-groups (big business, politics, some media) to go on each other and dont focus on part of our governments, who are responsable for many wrong things.
WE...normal human beings who just want to work, get paid, dreaming for a better future, are conditioned to sheeps in many cases.
All i want is FREEDOM for everyone who wants to live and dont want to hurt other people.
It`s not important which religion, sexuality someone has IF it is private and not ideological, political.
Don`t get outplayed by all these different powers and try (!) not to think in GOOD, BAD...in black and white.
There are so much greyzones in between and Oligarchs in Ukraine, Russia, Sheikhs in UA, Qatar, Politicians in France, Germany, UK, USA & Co are only for the Elites...not for US...
..the normal people.
WE..the people are suffering from death, losing our sons at the fronts in war.
NOT THEM!

There is the Winter Update + i made mistakes at the beginning of my save (missed training, changed it too late etc.).
I mean, the 3.3 Winger etc. were 1st season brutal good. Didn`t even finished the save, could be even league winner (3p behind, 4-5 matches left).
Whatever, will try your 4.0, especially ith the Solid vs stronger teams.
