idk why 4-1-2-1-2 formation doesn't work at all fm series... God i love this formation
looks like we still need time

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

He might like how it plays and that's the major factor for him.

Or he might just had a great winning run with it (it could be luck but it doesn't matter) and now he's happy and just came to thank ZaZ for this tactic.

Or it might be his team is perfectly fits into this tactic and that delivers a very good result.

Anyway, I think you got my point. :)

Yup, i got your point. I like 3 defender formations too but also very *depended* on table points, dunno why. It always felt me like i'm going to lose because i didn't pick the best tactic... Whatever i think you got my point too :P
ZubeR said: best tactic ive test so far in this fm,good job and thank u for u time.

is this possible? I mean tactics are tested in 2.8k matches to find the best but this guy said "best tactic so far". Isn't the best tactic is who gets most points on the table? Just curious
What makes you think swap positions would do anything? I mean i'm argueing with you just asking, curiosity.
Zippo u are doing specific role/attribute/tactic testing, but what if the engine already designed for this? I mean you have to think as *overall* about your tactic, e.g if you're doing much shorter passing with narrow width, you shouldn't be able to expand the pitch widely. Therefore if enemy defends narrow your players might get stuck..

What you think?
nice glasscannon tactic as always @ZaZ. Is enganche role viable? Or trequartista?
Since there isn't any statistic that shows possession, do you know any tactic that would suit me :P
ZaZ said: In my opinion, and that's just an opinion, the objective of football is to score more goals than opposition. There are several ways to achieve that, but anything you do in the field should contribute to use space better to score goals and avoid conceding.

That being said, passing is one of the mechanics that can potentialize a tactical style, but I can't see "completing several passes" as a good metric for entertaining football. For example, I prefer to look at clear chances created and clear chances conceded.

Anyway, I believe Barcelona from Messi created an illusion that Tiki-Taka is better than other styles, because they really dominated most opponents, but some people forget that we are talking about the best Barcelona of all times, with at least three or four players that would figure in any list of best players in history. However, teams have dominated the field with very different tactics both before and after that Barcelona.

P.S.: I'm not saying you can't win with high passing tactics, just that I don't think that metric should define a tactic. You can use very short passing with this tactic, but it will lose performance. Maybe you would have better success with another tactic with more players in the midfield, like this.

Really appreciate that u gave a value to respond that long. According to "but some people forget that we are talking about the best Barcelona of all times, with at least three or four players that would figure in any list of best players in history." that sentence i'd say xavi, iniesta, etc. were already playing but they weren't considered as "world's best players". When pep took the charge and adapted his players at the second half of the league then people turned their eyes to barcelona and impressed of their "tiki-taka" magic.

As short, i believe that tactic makes players better not the players(at some point yes). I know every person has their own idea about football, like my friend absolutely in love with counter attack which i hate. I've tried many tactics to make it real tiki-taka on FM match engine but it doesn't work. Maybe i better stick with the tactic called "score more than your opponent" to be successful. :D
Is "much shorter passing" viable?

ZaZ said: In short, it lowers the performance. Why would you want to have much shorter passing?

i love the number of passes completed by my team. It shows dominance imo.
Is "much shorter passing" viable?
will it be tested for new me?
Dino said: I have uploaded a new version of Rush. This Rush ASYM has been performing very well in my testing league and scoring lots of goals. If you use it in your save switch side depending on where your personnel strength is of course.

If anyone has been using the Rush Strikerless tactics and has any feedback, please let me know.

u might want to share some screenshots

edit: my bad, i didn't see pictures

I've edited your post. Please, next time use the "Insert" button if you want to insert an attachment in your post.

Thank you.

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks, is it gonna be tested or?
I've uploaded to prntscr somehow it doesn't appear. Now i've changed screenshots, check again. Thanks
Hi,

Since i'm seeking for possession based tactic, decided to create it myself. I enjoy watching my players this is why i want to share with u. I hate today's football, f**k gegenpress and "running" players.

Anyway lets take a look for stats. Note: I'm the strongest team in the league so i'll add my u19 club  stats too.

U19

Champions cup:

League:

Needed to be tested to verify the rating. Thanks

To be more realistic u can use DLF-A instead of AF-A. The reason i change dlf to af is my regen. I want him score more.
cptdoggo said: It gets 47-49% usually. However, in game that usually translates to 50%+. Very Attacking tactics usually get 41-43%.

Revelation 1.0 possession to compare

What about the regular "positive tiki taka" tactic? is it leading on possession rates?
could u share 2AF tactic league stats? Wish to know possession rate
For more possession, u could try "much shorter passing" and FB-A to IWB-S for LB and RB
Dino said: Glad to see it’s doing well with Man City! Thank you for testing! Let me know what you think of the new one.

i dont think raumdeuter works.. or its just me?
