i know that. But I think they want it like that because it is more realistic that you may have a period in a season where you struggle (e.g. Chelsea this season or Liverpool often around christmas/new year. you have to get through those phases
I created this tactic at the beginning of the season and I loved it. It is very offensive and you score a lot of goals. I was able to qualify for UCL at the end of the season. I only bought Chambers from Arsenal for 1.9m in the winter transfer period, so no real changes in the squad. Additionally I played the whole season manually and NOT on holiday mode. All of the players had great seasons with really good performances (as you can see with their grades). overall I dominated smaller teams and was able to compete with the big six clubs.

I agree that playing on holiday is a bad method to test a tactic so i am glad you played it manually. but you should mention that it is the third season so it is difficult to compare
It's my third season with Arsenal and I did not change everything in the team as you can see. I developed this tactic before the third season started and it works amazing. Every opponent is just being dominated and it makes a lot of fun to watch the team. My two CMs have the instruction to mark the opponents CBs in order to press the opponent right from their approach to play out from the back and it is a lot of fun to see the opponent to crack under the pressure.
This is my tactic and the league table. I created it after Patch 22.2 and it worked wonders. i got knocked out of UCL i the round of 16 against ManUtd but that was with another tactic in the previous patch.
I created that tactic based on many other tactics that were posted here and i tried to combine the strengths and eliminate weaknesses. Segundo Volante CDMs are doing really well in this tactic. It is just pure dominance with this tactic.
I did not sign any new player, so the squad did not change at all. Depay was my best scorer but every striker was really succesful, even luuk de jong.
