Updated the 1st post with four different runs using this tactic. Quite happy, it's a defensive tactic and performs really well when the teams are near equal but doesn't necessarily destroy teams where the gap is a bit larger like some of these other tactics, which is why my target teams were: 1) In leagues they are expected a top2 finish with at least one similar strength team, 2) teams from all kinds of levels in the league, 3) were in the Champions League.

First of all, shoutouts to the Laziale for the backline and lack of offside trap. I tried to tweak it but honestly there's not much I'd like to improve there and saw no point in submitting an inferior version of it just to make it more personalized, so I will acknowledge that this tactic has kept a lot of the same roles and instructions. Like most of my own tactics however, this started as a hyper offensive one. It had two Mezzala's running wide, overlapping with WBs on attack but came to realize that it doesn't really bring enough offensive power forward to compensate for the massive hole you leave defensively, which made me question why I had a backline of 5 to begin with. So instead I opted to go the more defensive route, replaced the Mezzala's with BWMs, who -- unlike the SVs in Laziale, aims to win the ball higher up the field and to connect with the striker trio which has been extremely effective this year just as a standalone thing, and was more or less the only strong point of the original version of this tactic.

I've been tweaking the heck out of this, been through about 12 versions simply to test the effects of changing one instruction at a time and this has been the most effective one yet. I'll keep testing and submitting more version if I come across something that performs better. I have some more ideas in mind that I want to test but so far I'm satisfied with this being the 1.0.

td;dr: It's a defensively strong tactic that emulates the strongest defensive tactic submitted, but should also score more. Also please excuse the ridiculous name of this tactic, I've recently started coding my tactics with a color and a season to help me remember them better, so yeah.

Been running this in 4 leagues that all suggest this is a a tactic that's difficult to score versus, for a defensive tactic we also don't have much trouble scoring.

In Europe it also causes some upsets in the home leg but generally proceeded to get battered in the away legs vs superior teams.

Not to be confused with strikerless! Had great success with it so far, and also has the highest recorded rating in another database I run my tests in:

Posting it mostly to see if it's any good in this database.

It's really just the result of a tons of tweaking after trying to make an Enganche work, realizing the F9 could be used in a similar role. It's built to put a lot of pressure on a 4 backline and so far has the highest GpG I've tested in Stickpiano's database by a significant amount. He also encouraged me to post it here, so I did.

I called it "Starry Night" because it's so asymmertrical to the point where I just call it a 4-*-*-*. Also it's supposed to be the "night" tactics, a 2nd half tactic a calmer "morning" tactic for the first half.

Other feats, I just simmed a season in Poland and reached the Champions League knocksouts in the first season without transfers with Legia. It just scores a lot, it's really good in PvE and was designed to be like a secondary tactic for when I needed to score, but I just found that it just works the best all the time tbh.

If anyone tries it out and finds improvements to it let me know.
