Can you upload the corner routine?

TurtleKing said: This tactic is incredible, scoring goals for fun. Could be a little bit better in defence, but who cares. It's all about winning and scoring goals. What I love the most about the tactic is the performance of the wingbacks, they contribute so much to the attack. I had Ben White getting 5 assists and a goal in 1 game lmao.

Playing as Arsenal, won both the league and the Champions League very easily. I even used multiple youngsters that I took up from the youth teams, like Nwaneri 16y/old played in 28 league games.

I used the mirror version, just so I could use Saka as RW. Only added a few player instructions to some of the positions that I believe increased the performance a little.

One other thing I'll say is corner kicks. It's so easy to score them. I tweaked them a little in the start of the season, but oh my days, scoring for fun from them in the second half of the season. Btw I love how they've made the new set pieces system this year, I've asked for it for years. And it's perfect. I let my assistant choose the players for the categories and the set pieces takers, but its always in-swinging, so it doesn't matter.

42 corner goals in the league, and 19 corner goals in the Champions league. If anyone want to see my corner setup, I've a screenshot of it

Very good job!

Mark said: I have been thinking about the last changes to the testing environment here at FM Arena. The new system takes the best of the AI tactics and plays them against the tactic being tested. I wondered what would be the best tactic against each of the AI tactics.

Those who have read any of my thoughts on this and other sites will know I like to run with 3 tactics that are easy to move between. With this in the back of my mind I decided to look at the Hall of Fame. I picked a couple of tactics based on good goal scoring and defence and then a 4-2-4, a 4-4-2 wide diamond and the 4-1-2-3 wide that dominated early.

The AI tactics in the FM Arena test environment are 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, 4-4-2 and 5-2-3. The results are points conceded.

So I am using the following tactics. Bombyte (Tweak) 4-2-4, Re-Cookie VI 4-4-2 wide diamond, and Cookie Shooter 4-1-2-3. I also sometimes use the Paradox Bomb 4-4-2 with 2 DM. Base is Re-Cookie VI, moves to Cookie Shooter by DM to ST, moves to Bombyte Tweak by AM to DM and wingers forward, and moves to Paradox Bomb by AM to DM. I would prefer just 3 tactics but can handle 4 as Paradox Bomb isn't used very often.

Against

4-2-3-1 I use Cookie Shooter with back up from Paradox Bomb

4-3-3 I use Re-Cookie VI with backup from Bombyte Tweak

4-4-2 I use Re-Cookie VI with backup from Bombyte Tweak

5-2-3 I use Bombyte Tweak with backup from Re-Cookie

Feel free to give it a try and let me know your thoughts. Hopefully helps someone.

It has been working well for me.

With your tweaks, first match of the season

Some others matchs are delicious, you need to create a thread to test tweaks by fm A

Where can i download this tactic?

I made some slight twists but mainly with your ideas and its absolute beast, and definitely better than 4222 that's been the meta:

- On offense you are occupying channels with 7 players instead of 6 - nightmare for defense.
- On defense you are tracking back with 7 players instead of 6.
- Defensive wingers absolute key to the tactic - on offense they pinch back the opposition fullback and open up channels, while on defense provide immediate support to your DM.
- A lot of verticality due to inverted wing backs allowing strikers/shadow striker position higher up the pitch.

Probably will need to fine tune the TI's and PI's but congrats on laying a very strong foundation.

Where can indownlod this tactic because i cant find it?

for player over 25 what kind of individual team training should i use or it doesnt change?
Mark said: There have been a lot of questions about training focus for each position over many months on this website. I have generally approached this by looking at which individual additional training focus would suit the position best. After analysing the machine learning weightings against attributes that each individual additional training focus covers I think a rolling approach of between 1 and 4 training focuses should be used depending on the position.

To take the most advantage of the additional focus you need to have some of the training sessions that allow individual focus training in your weekly training schedules. The best schedules for this are Aerial Defence, Ground Defence, Chance Creation and Chance Conversion.

Here are the Training Focus calculations based on the GS Ratings, with the best individual focus schedules in blue for each position.

If you look at the ones that score at 150 points and above and then stick them into a 12 week schedule it looks like this:

After the 12 week cycle you need to start again at the top.

Can I use them also for my U20 and U 18 team?
@ZaZ which are the best i individual training for positions for my youth Team U18 GK,CB,RB LB,DM,CM,RW LW,ST Thanks
Which are the most important attributes for positions so I can maximize them?@Zippo
Zippo said: Hi,

I'm sure you guys are aware that we've been testing player attributes to find out which of them make the most difference - https://fm-arena.com/table/18-fm23-attribute-testing/

But I think there might be people who don't fully understand why we're doing that and how it can be used in their saves.

So I just want to reveal you the power of the player attributes testing. :)

Here's a striker from our tactic testing league. He is about 145CA:

If you look at the results of our attribute testing then you'll notice that some attributes such as 'Acceleration' or 'Pace' makes a huge difference and some attributes such as 'Teamwork' or 'Off The Ball' almost doesn't make any difference.

Of course, it's important to understand that 'Acceleration' and 'Pace' attributes are much more expensive in terms of CA(Current Ability) than 'Teamwork' or 'Off The Ball' attributes. For example, 1 Point of Acceleration costs about 2.5CA when 1 Point of Teamwork costs only 0.3CA.

But what if take our striker and redistribute his CA from less important attributes such as Composure, Teamwork, Off The Ball, Long Shots to very important important attributes such as Acceleration and Pace keeping the same CA:

Notice that the CA of our striker hasn't changed, it's still 145CA, we just redistributed it.

Now, let's do a similar redistribution for other positions keeping the same CA and then test it:

Default Attributes Result:

Redistributed Attributes Result:

As you can see the points skyrocketed from 53 to 90 and the G.D. skyrocketed from +3 to +62 but all players had the same CA!

From the result above we can conclude if players have the same CA then it doesn't mean they are equal quality, some of them might be much better than others. Obviously, in FM some attributes such as Acceleration and Pace are game-changing attributes, they make a huge difference and you should prioritize them.

Will I upload the most important attributes for position and the individual train for positions(during their career)so we can maximize them .

ZaZ said: I am still testing, and it seems like Frost is not doing as well as last year. Fire (former Blue) is still good, so I would just use it until more results appear.

Ok thanks, when will u update that.
ZaZ said: Blue is very offensive, one of the highest goals per match from FM22, which is why I call it Fire. Green is very defensive, with one of the best defenses, which is why I call it Frost.

Where  to use the Red tactic and where to use the frost one .Thanks 🙏
