I took charge of a team from a second division in an Eastern European country that was predicted to finish mid-table. We won promotion, which is no surprise. But then, in our first season in the top flight, we won the league with a 10-point lead without replacing a single player in the squad — and most of them are nearing their 30s, so it’s not like they developed much either.

I believe this is the strongest plug-and-play tactic available right now, especially considering how the test league is structured — creative natural defensive midfielders are hard to come by; most of them are central midfielders.
I love that fullbacks are so overperforming here. Also, only 47 goals conceded while having attacking mentality is insane!
what a beautiful tactic!
Steelwood said: Yeah I agree. Conclusion I've come to is that you cannot win matches on pace and acceleration *alone* and you do need to have a smattering of other "meta" attributes. I think all rest can work in a save with real players who already have a bit of technical and mental ability, but on a youth only save I don't think it's workable

I only did "all rest" for my youth team in the middle of the save or when you are managing in low reputation league when intake quality sucks. This is to free players' CA and later pump it all into physicals to squeeze every bit of their CA/PA. Later on, you want other attributes cos they do matter.
Steelwood said: Does anyone have any results after using these? Specifically G7. Been playing with Dartford in a youth-only save and have been going all in on pace/acceleration but don't find that the actual results of the team are that good. Been trapped in mid-table despite having the fastest team and a meta tactic

What helped in my case is prioritizing players with higher dribbling attribute among my regens. UPD: Overall, try no to stick to your older 20/20 pace/acc regens and introduce younger ones to the first team all the time. Your youth intake average PA is usually higher as you progress through the save. Yes, they are slower but have massive technical advantage over your older guys. And they have enough PA to develop great physical.
Interesting approach? How does it function without the in-game editor being purchased?

All credits go to @A Smile , the creator of the orginal tactic.

I needed to check whether this recent tweak benefits the tactic I ended up using in my youth academy save. It doesn't always work.

Ajax said: On the right, I played the match. On the left, I went into vacation mode (I'm Le Havre). So yes, it's PSG in front, but my question is why does the vacation mode perform better than when we play the games ourselves with this tactic?

simulate the game a lot of times in both modes to draw a conclusion. But, yeah, it's a known thing
Insane tactic
It would be interesting to look at the squad. Since attribute weights are different across positions, I wonder how pace/acc is balanced with CA of the players. Maybe, there are hidden gems within tactical shapes that would perform better with an overabundance of defensive players (pace/acc is "cheaper" for them).
CBP87 said: Hello, in all honesty I wouldn't, I think the double pivot in DM is just better, the CM role is no where near as effective in my opinion. However If I was going to move one of them to CM, then I would move him to a CM on support but I do think you would lose the balance of the tactic

I see what you are saying, thanks!
@CBP87 hi, I've got a question a little off-topic if you don't mind. How do you think you would adjust God of Chaos if you were to move one of the DMs to CM poistion? Do you think there is a way without loosing balance too much?
Tidemann said: Does the gk testing results mean, that the only thing I should be looking at regarding gk attributes is reflexes, agility and acceleration?

Btw. love that you test all this. Much appreciated.

Well, you probably still want some basic level of all other attributes. And acceleration impact is very low, so I just focus on reflexes ang agility
I think what could actually matter for GK performance is how tall he is
A mix of two top performing tactics of different shapes, MOO GROB and God of Chaos v1. Basically, tried to force the shape in, since it's the easiest one to build a small team around. Tested with Man City, full holiday mode.
bigloser said: Anecdotally for me at least, Strikers with high JR get the majority of their goals from set pieces and not the run of play so you are really just cannibalizing goals from your DC that need to have it anyway. So if you have a high JR CB there is not a huge net gain in team goals from having high JR on your striker.

AMLR (IFS) with big JR get more heading goals in the run of play in my experience due to the mismatches against DRLs.

So I suspect JR effectiveness is mostly matchup dependent and these tests basically show what happens if you win nearly every header.

exactly described my experience as well
