Zippo said: We'll test one more ( counter-press ) and back to tactic testing

Testing trap inside / outside, underlaps and be more expressive would also be interesting to see but do understand it takes time and people want their tactics tested, appreciate the work and time that has gone into this zippo (and team)!
I think part of the issue is that there is a relatively established "meta" which has carried over from FM22 in terms of team and player instructions. Even if you start with a clean slate I would imagine most people who post on this site have viewed which tactics tend to be successful and it is then very difficult to move away from instructions that have been proven to work. There are also a limited number of formations and roles to use and lots of people making tactics so there is bound to be some overlap with other tactics even when starting from scratch.

Knap does indeed produce a myriad of tactics so it is quite likely anything you make will resemble something he has posted. He also takes inspiration from this site - I noticed he began to post strikerless tactics after the success first shown on here in FM21 and his most recent team and player instructions have begun to more closely mimic those first seen on tactics posted here, with his own spin on the roles and duties. This isn't an attack on Knap at all by the way, I'm glad he does what he does, he's created a multitude of brilliant tactics which have helped loads of people to enjoy the FM series over the years, including myself.

At the end of the day let's just work together to try and create the best set of tactics we can for FM23 and as others have said, indicate where you have taken inspiration from another user. I don't think anyone here is posting for personal glory, rather to try and find out what works best in the game and I would hope anyone who does use another user's tactic as the base for their own would be honest enough to mention this in their write-up. If they don't and you strongly feel they have copied another tactic there is certainly a way to enquire politely via the admins or personal messages rather than firing accusations off straight off the bat.

Happy tinkering all.
