I was hoping you could test my most successful tactic so far. Since my first tactic wasn't as successful as I had hoped, which spured me on to improve even further. This tactic has now been working on both my own saves where we have been dominating as the top team for four years before I implemented this tactic as well as in small tests taken place in already existing leagues varying the teams reputaions.
Hello FM Arena, this is my first time having a tactic being tested. Though we have been very successful in older FMs at creating tactics, this one is the first that I feel could compete.
The goal was defensive solidity whilst controling play in the opponents third and stopping counter attacks before the even dare arrise
The main issues we have faced with this tactic are sides that use heavy counterpress and away games. Played at home this tends to dominate, whilst playing away we struggle to control quite as well as we would at home.
The draws we had in late january through febuary were due to an injury crisis and could have probably been contained to just one or two
