It's an asymmetric formation, with an emphasis on left-wing play. During attacks, it forms a three-back with a half-back and an inverted full-back, with a deep-lying playmaker and a libero orchestrating the midfield. However, being a counter-attacking tactic, it doesn't focus much on buildup. The primary scoring routes are through a trio of forwards: a pressing forward, a shadow striker, and a wide targetter, all positioned forward. The season didn't end perfectly, but the results were better than I expected, making me curious whether it was due to the players' abilities or the effectiveness of the tactics.
