I’ve recently found that this formation works better in PVP matches, likely due to better space utilization and localized numerical advantages. After all, positioning and spacing are crucial in FM24’s tactical system. I initially believed the three-striker formation had immense potential—its attacking output is the most explosive—but I later realized an unsolvable issue: FM24’s defense relies heavily on two key aspects. First, a double defensive midfield setup to protect the half-spaces, and second, proper positioning of wingers and full-backs to cover the flanks. The three-striker formation can’t balance both—you either sacrifice one defensive midfielder or leave a flank exposed. Nowadays, every new Hall of Fame tactic I encounter feels like a delightful surprise. The FM24 meta has already been thoroughly explored by the community.
