Finally, thanks to FM26, I can fully recreate my dream tactic:
Out of possession: A structured 4-4-2. Nothing new here, just the usual aggressive tackling meta.
In transition: A dynamic 3-2-3-2. The left full-back acts as a defensive midfielder, allowing the actual DM to push up into the attacking midfield area.
In the final third: An offensive 3-2-5. On the left side, the DLF, AM, and PWB form an unpredictable triangle.
Of course, this can be mirrored if your right-back is better suited to the PWB role while your left-back is more defensive.
I know strikerless formations are the meta right now, so this might not interest everyone. However, I achieved incredible results with a team that was above average but definitely not the best in the league.
This is just the beginning for me, and I look forward to your feedback to help me tweak it for even better results.
