All the good tactics seem to be using 4 wide and 6 through the middle. I have tried 2 lines of 5 before in my 50500 tactic. Now trying 10 through the middle with 3 DCs, a striker, 2 DMs, 2 MCs and 2 AMCs. I think this formation impacted a lot of the squads I was using as they didnt seem to be able to easily cover 6 central mids. Altrincham seemed to cope and won their league even with a disastrous April with a loss and 4 draws from their 5 games.
