I really dont like playing with strikerless tactics, so have been moving the AM SS forward to an ST CHF. This tactic is based on the leading Argus one. I have also stripped out all the PIs other than the ones that you cant because they relate to the role. I generally play in lower divisions so prefer less complicated tactics. Using this as the base I am going to put up tests with all the different mentalities find out the difference in performance and the impact on goals for and against.
This is the Balanced version, the middle mentality, so it will be the baseline. Next one will be Attacking as it appears to be the one that is rating best in the FM Arena testing environment.
I am using the same testing structure as my previous tests, 1 unfancied team from each English Division from Enterprise South through to EPL. These are holiday tests with no transfers.
Results werent too bad. The bottom 4 leagues were all easy winners. L1 finished 6th, Championship finishes 2nd and Burnley finished 15th in EPL.
I decided to use Shrewsbury who won L2 by 13 points and scored 113 goals for with just 39 against in 46 matches.
This is a seriously good effort for a Balanced Mentality, a Striker and no PIs.
