Player instructions?

In my own experience i like positive and balanced mentality more then attacking mentality. Hope more tactics with positive and balanced are going to be tested.

Which tactic is stronger: plug-and-play tactics or the one with the highest overall score in the tactics table? What is the difference between them?

Plug and play you should be able to use with most squads. Other tactics might require you to retrain positions or or buy in players to match the tactic.

Which one would you recommend? Also, if I start with a balanced approach away from home using this tactic, will it disrupt the strategy instead of creating a positive outcome?

From my own tests balanced mentality results in similar results, at least for this tactics.

Usually the tactic is better if the score is higher.

As for the "plug-and-play" thing, a tactic being non-"plug-and-play" means the tactic is either: 1.Not using some common positions (like meta striker-less formations or a 4213 formation without wingers) since most teams would have to replace or retrain players with only these positions; 2. Using positions like LM/RM that most players would not be fully proficient in (like a 442 flat formation) and again resulting in the need of signing or retraining.

Thank you for the answers. I have one more question: How correct is it to play a player in a position other than their best position? Will their performance decrease significantly? For example, if their skill level in that position is less than 20

Should I play plug-and-play or the Hall of Fame top-rated team? I'm torn if I have to choose between them; they're similar except one doesn't have a striker.

There is around a 2.5% cost in performance per point below 20/20 position. But if you play them there they will increase their position rating. You can play a striker as and AM SS for example. They will get competent reasonably quickly.

I think any tactic within 5 or so points of the top tactic will still be overpowering. I still using my 343 striker tactic with positive mentality and have gone 60% through the season unbeaten. I combine it with the top rated tactic which only moves the striker back to AM SS when I go behind and want to claw baqck a goal, and move to a light balanced version of the striker tactic to save player fatigue if I go a couple of goals up.

Does preffered foot matter for certain positions in this tactic?

From my own tests, AWBs & OCBs seemed to work slightly better with the same foot as the side they are on; and the opposite for IFs. As for AMs the preferred foot didn't matter.

Thank you for the response!

The best tactic for my experience. Tried a lot of tactics and this was the best one.
Championship title in the first season using this tactic after 3 years trying with different systems (120 goals).
8th place in PL in the first season, after a few transfers, winning games against Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man United, Spurs.
A lot of goals, some weird losses, but awesome experience. Thanks!
