First up a shout out to ZaZ, the base of this tactic is their tactic ZaZ Autumn 3.39 ST. None of the team instructions have changed from that tactic. I have however moved players into different attacking and defensive positions along with changing the team mentality to cautious. This changes how the tactic functions in both phases of the game.

Looking to have a compact line of 6 protecting the back 3 in defence as opposed to dropping players to full back like in other tactics allowing for an easier way to move the ball forward on the turn over. Playing cautious rather than attacking looking to utilise the counter rather than to hold possession outside the opponents box. With the advanced playmaker and the free role these two players will cause chaos for defences with 4 options to create a goal scoring opportunity. The wide forwards running in on the angle tie up the wider defenders with the second striker looking to go down the middle. The box to box midfielder arriving late can find holes as even a back 5 can get over run in transition.

I have run the tactic with Liverpool in the English Premiership and with England in the World Cup mode. Both have had success. Liverpool winning the Premiership with 92 points and the champions league including hammering PSG in the final 4-0, and England winning the World Cup.

It also gets France over the line as well. Beating England in the final
