Training System Bug

by pixar, Jan 30, 2023

Normally, you can add only 2 "Match Practice" workouts to the weekly training program. Most football manager players with experience and detail know that the most efficient training method is "Match Practice", as you can imagine.

Again, I guess that most of you are playing the game in the form of a Wednesday-Saturday match schedule. (me too)

If you mark Monday-Wednesday-Friday-Sunday as match day while creating a training program, add "Match Practice" to any other 2 free times and create this program on the calendar, then you can add "Match Practice" to each space by pulling this program from the calendar and editing it. Try it, it really happens.

After adding the above to the calendar and arranging it one by one, you can make such a weekly schedule. Then you can copy and paste that weekly program and spread it over the whole year.

But the top type of training will really perk the players. The method I personally use is as follows.

This is how I use listening. I play with totally different 11 in leagues and cups.

Cheers.

Put the Onur.fmf file in the documents>sports interactive>football manager 2023>schedules folder.

Then import it from the game.

When you apply the above program to any week, a program like the one in the red area below will appear. Here you can make all kinds of edits without limitations. You can then copy and paste this edit you made to every week.

Of course, it increases the risk of injury. That's why I reduce the risk of injury by doing every match practice training and regeneration training after matches.

i think what i am about to say sounds fake but using the first session as match practice second as recovery and third as rest work well with low injury ( it also makes the player's additional focus improve better )

That routine you mentioned is too weak in my opinion, there is no need for recovery and rest. You can safely use Defending-Match Practice-Attacking every day.

I would second @kimpichmony's training schedule. Players have way less injuries than with Zaz or Defending-Match Practice-Attacking and still develop really fast. I went one step further by adding a rest day just before a match if the previous one was just two days before. By doing this I can get away with playing my starting 11 w/o much rotation for entire season.
