Out of curiosity, what team are you playing using it with ? Would be worthwhile adding such teams to my personal testing when tweaking tactics

I was using Man Utd, but I am a few seasons in and probably have the best team in the league, still struggled away from home though! I used a different tactic after the defeat to arsenal away

Nice (almost) clean sweep ! Though I will be the first to admit the Premier League win had an element of luck with it, very rarely I see ManC & Liverpool scoring less then 80 points

I just finished the 1st season with Man Utd.

Away matches were difficult but it should be like that.

Some personal notes and hints(?) for future tweaks :
1a) Set Pieces: Attribute 'Free Kick Taking' is a nice to have for IFs or SVs - just make sure to update the set-piece routine accordingly
1b) Set Pieces: As a fair warning, if you are going to use this tactic as a basis for other formations, make sure to update / check the set-piece routine accordingly
2a) OIs: None in general as it tends to be opponent specific
2b) OIs: Listen to your AssMan on 'Focus down Left/Right', I ignore the rest

No idea how F9 will affect it, but I have seen exact same tactics changing AF to PF and somehow doing worse.
I highly encourage folks to tweak the tactic and post it here for testing

adding 'work into box' did wonders for my Brighton side, very strong during away games. a draw against 2nd Man City, and beat top league Liverpool twice. strangely enough i struggle playing home especially against weaker teams, beaten by Leed  and bottom table Bournemouth both at home. but anw, im curious have anyone tried using WB instead? are there any huge differences?

Not sure about 'WBs', again feel free to tweak this tactic to death to test it here. We will benefit as a community in the end.
From personal testing 'Work into Box' tended to have the players passing the ball even within the penalty box instead of shooting which annoyed the heck out of me LOL

Side note : Leeds and Aston Villa are my bogey team... those matches are annoying af

I tried this tactic with wb (support) and changed their instructions: Added cross more often, stay wider, cross from deep. Also added tactical instructions : Hit early crosses, whipped crosses. Results were brilliant, trashed Liverpool (5-1) and Real Madrid (3-1) with FC Porto. Felt extremely good xD. The 4 guys in front benefit a lot of the early crosses and AF usually end up in 2v1 situations in front of the goal.

Original tactic is really good. I managed to reach the premier league with taunton town fc. I wanted to try this tweak when things got tough in the premier league and the results are really amazing.


I will probably continue to use more of the original tactic, but this tweak needs to be focused on.
