I will use this area to post stuff about FM27 preview before FM Arena starts testing. I will try to keep the most important things in the first post, including my best tactics, training schedules, set pieces, views, and important hints. I will try to make initial versions as fast as possible for people interested, then test those initial versions after I make them available.

Ace of Hearts 0.1 (3340): A mix between Ace of Clubs and Ace of Spades #5. Ace of Hearts 0.1 ST (334): Striker version of Ace of Hearts #2. Two of Clubs 0.1 (3421): Ace of Clubs ST without wingers
Make sure to use training with double intensity, and no intensity if players are tired. Individual training should be set to Quickness and GK Shot Stopping. It is also important to leave a full rest day after matches, removing recovery if needed (usually on you have a second match during the week).

I did not play yet, I am first creating stuff based on FM26, then I will test and start a career mode to see how it plays out. During the career mode, I will describe all decisions in a didactic way, and listen to tips from others.
i have tried one season on holiday. it doesn't look op as before but maybe its because all of these new effectivness in tactics and this is just one season
edit: did second time testing. i would say its stable maybe not as before in fm26 we will see

I may just be awful at tactics and a complete sausage but I'm personally finding that my wingbacks aren't on smoke this year getting crazy contributions and creating chances. As for strikerless I've played around with a few mock ideas and it seems to be fairly similar to FM26 in terms of goalscoring numbers.

That is correct. However, I forgot to tell people to add full rest after matches, removing recovery when you have a second match during the week. I will add that to the notes.

@ZaZ So did training not really change at all from FM26 to FM27 (so is the 2x physical, 2x attack, super rest schedule still meta in FM27)? Or is it just still testing phase?

It is impossible to know with just one day, so I am using FM26 as starting spot to develop from there.
They reworked the sessions, changed and added some individual training, added tactical effectiveness and probably more. There is actually a bit of a training revamp, we'll see how much is relevant but I wouldn't be surprised if we need to pick a bit of a different training approach this time. Even double intensity is a question mark for now.
These things will take several weeks to test and everyone wants all the answers on day1 ...

They just moved things around and renamed them, but under the hood it seems to be the same. I hope I am wrong.
After playing around with the preview for most of the day I can say with a reasonable degree of confidence that striker formation seems to be better than strikerless.

I agree i am currently simming 3 seasons with 3 different tactics with a regular 433 diff role IP and OP and get better results

I added the rank of each tactic by the side in the first post (except Ace of Hearts which is currently in test). As you can see, the ST versions are ahead of non ST versions. My tests are performed in eight different teams (four title favourites and four favourites for relegation), with three independent season runs for each.
My team lacked tactical effectiveness, and the impact on the Pace attribute wasn't particularly significant either. Overall, my players haven't developed as well as they usually do and have also underperformed in league matches.

Currently testing "striker x strikerless". Need more results, but so far striker seems more promising.
For me striker is better, also had to change from AWB to wb and ocb to stoppers
Midfield was CM and MPM

Always a good starting point, but the track record says any changes will be minimal, so probably will be something close to last years version
