a bit off topic - I always simulate matches. I just enjoy back office things. Not 100% sure but my subjective opinion is that "do not use match plan" with instant result works better than "play for the win" or "play for the draw". In FM24 I had 2 own custom plans which worked very good. Unfortunately not the case here.
Hi Zaz. I am wondering how do you do runs? Sorry, I might be missing some explanation somewhere from you. But do you simulate matches by Instant result? If yes, do you use any plan (ex play for the win) or "do not use match plan"?
I am successfully using Winter 0.2, but only changing to balanced mentality against stronger opponents. Would be interesting to see all your tactics in testing table when its ready.
Hi. I am playing console version which is simplified but at the same time pretty annoying to move around using controller. Would like to hear answers on following:
1. In FM24 I never trained role, traits or used focus for players until 22 y.o. So it was always position, no focus and no traits. I played mainly 2-3 teams all the time and my subjective opinion is that players evolve better using this approach.
Question: Is it the same in FM26?
2. I delegate training to Assistant manager (obviously as it is cumbersome to do all with controller . As I just played in total 3 seasons, I can see that my own (manager profile) attributes improved - for example "attack", "defend", "fitness" became "good". My coaching attributes are better than of Assistant Manager (who is doing all the first team training). Having all variables the same (schedule, intensity, etc.), does it mean that if I don't delegate first team training, players will develop better?
Question: For example, start of the season "shooting" attribute for a player is 10. After full season with delegated training it increased to 11. If I don't delegate (same schedule, same intensity, same match results and playing time) theoretically it might increase to 12.
I won 1-st league rather easy. Second season 12th (of 16) place so hardly survived. As I mainly simulate matches, hard to say what's exactly can be improved. But I think attack is not good. Forwards score not a lot. Maybe Wingers' roles should be adjusted (IF?) and make formation not so narrow?
Thanks. Started with this one as just purchased the game. Console version which makes things harder As I cannot save tactics due to bug. Decided to play this tactics as played similar in FM24. So far 10 games in first league Ukraine with a team predicted as a 6-th finisher. 7 wins and 3 draws. Did one adjustment - I am using DLF or CF instead of one CHF
Wow. Will try it. @Gerrard question to you. I simulate matches with match plan, which changes main tactics to save energy if leading +2, e.g. time wasting, lower tempo, changing FBat to support role and changing AF to PFsu with PFde for other one. What would you suggest for your tactics? I guess one would be changing IWB to support and may be having PFsu and PFde too?
Thanks for posting. I really like symmetric tactics like this and ZAZ. Could you point me to any of threads with player instructions for this? I am on ps5
Have you consider some sort of donation page so we can buy you a coffee?
yes, 'd drop something on Revolut or Paypal

Can you post prscr here for updated one (0.11)? I am on PS5 and want to try with the same team
Or maybe just confirm if I got it correctly:
1. All the same apart from moving DM to CM role (channel MF)?
2. and 2 pressing instead of FB?
And changes are only for In posession?
Apart from it as I think it is tackle harder for everyone and make more runs for 2 Strikers and 2 wingers only?
Cheers! Using this tactics in my new challenge. Works well
thank you kind man
