I would like to introduce you to Quarcoo. This friend of ours is both a professional athlete and football player. It has been in the game for a few years. His pace and acceleration value in the game is 20. Except for flair, all his technical and mental attributes are almost below 6. I tried this player on FM 22 and it was very bad. He could not be effective in any tactic. The team I tried out for was a team from the lowest leagues.

unfortunatly you are wrong mate :/ after fm-arena tests i create a team for my own test and i made 2 strikers and 2 wingers... all 4 players has Finishing 1, technique 1, passing 1, off the ball 1, but has 20 acceleration, 20 pace, 20 dribbling, 20 jumping reach, 20 stamina, 20 work rate... and gues what? :) strikers got 35+ goals in 38 games and wingers got around 23 assists and 18+ goals :)
jesus wtf is going on? :/ i mean so what attributes makes for example striker to score like 35-50 goals a season? just speed and dribbling? becouse i am pretty shure mental attributes will be around 60 points as well :/ i think this year it will be realy nice to test it at seperate positions...

yeah there is few skins that shows players potential... i think OPZ elite one of them. But for me more nice idea would be what says guy in up post to have skin with ykykyk attribute points marked in the skin :)

p.s. i have made filters by my self for different positions but i think some of them could be bit off

why isit a problem??? its current game version... everybody play on 3.2 :)
personally i am getting rid of tired players as soon as i can... becouse it effects players performance alot in this years ME. so player tiredness dictates substitutes all the time. And other thing in Evidence based football tests he finds that if you sub-in player after 70th minute it will slow down his potential growth... so i am trying not to sub young players after 70th minute.

im not mad at all mate :) my english is not my birth language and i was trying to make the post as positive as i can... i am just suggesting maybe to concentrate for other things for a while couse in my p[ersonal opinion tactics not improving as much as it was before and maybe its better to focus on other game areas to improve.

It happened very often in the past that after December there weren't any M.E. changes or they were insignificant.

So the current M.E. might be the final M.E. for FM23.


there is always patch after january transfer window... but yeah sometimes ME its not changing...
guys, this is an amazing forum and a great community all of you are doing amazing work. creating, testing and sharing knowledge. But am i the only one who gets a bit tired of just only see the test of the same tactics with almost the same formations and getting points between 53 and 59 for the last few weeks? I truly doubt that before new patch someone will break the record of points and new patch will be in next 2 weeks! so maybe for those two weeks we can finish other things like Attributes for players... some import still dind tested or goalkeepers attributes... maybe set focus on set pieces? i mean we can do something good until next patch will come :)

P.s. In one of my (Quick) best defensive test as liverpool in 22 games i concede 9 goals. in pair was van dyjk and konate... and even after such a great team performance, Konate average rating was 6.5. my blame for stupid match engine :/

for last couples of weeks i am spending days and testing best tactics from the table and comparing how is it working... tactics are great teams are overachieving massively all great! But what annoys me is every single test with underdog or top team doesnt matter CD players ratings are below average! DR-DL position as well... if your cd scores from corner ok that game he as 7+ rating, but if not they are mostly like 6.3 - 6.5... ive tried so many combinations and no luck to make CD's consistently get at least 6.8-7.0 ratings... aany one on the same pattern? :)
yeah roles testing league would be greate... i found that even in the best tactics all roles in DR/DL positions having low ratings :/ CD's kinda same... so all tactis based on outscoring opponents instedad of keeping clean sheets or very good defensive record :/

so translating: what is the type of playerd needed for the role of defensive winger? those players need to be good on defense (having high marking, tackling etc) or being just good offensivelly (like most wingers) its still effective? Wondering because is really rare to find players that can play on that role on the field and that are good on both ends, usually only LBs or RBs fits that


concentrate on attacking skills like pace, acceleration, crossing, anticipation... but in other tests these gys found that inwetred wingers works same good as defensive wingers but there is much more players in this position to find ;)
guys can you do a test for crossing??? pretty sure this one should have at least bigger impact in performance and Goalkeeper attributes would be very nice as well :)
i found that CWB in general keeping low ratings... i changed them to simple Wing back/support in my own tactic and they perform fantastic ;)
