This is a delicated "topic", OIs aka as Placebo OI are something that you can use but maybe is something just for the eye.
For me the ever green OIs are :
I am pretty sure that adding trigger press will be just be cosmetic. Since we have it from TI. Like if we do use get stuck in or Tackle harder we will have even the Tackling Blue or Red anyway.
My placebo dose :
What i do suggest you, if your team is "bad" or slow or w/e. Lower the Pressing line to Mid-Block if you can't apply pressure.
Using Cautious vs Bigger teams i mean by alot. Like you facing City/Pool If you are facing them at home and you managing for example Arsenal you can go balanced all the way. (giving an example)
Getting better players is the key in any case and that's not a placebo
Great tactic! I've been very successful with this and the Diamond Cookie tactic. However, after playing with this for a while I saw my "defensive" players in the attack on defending setpieces, and I went into the tactic to check it out. And it looks a little messed up right? Probably not very important, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to change the positions for some players on these set-pieces. Now, after winning the ball and I've a counter-attack, I have the wrong players in attack.
A few examples in the photos, but it's the same for all the different defending set-pieces.

Yes, you can adjust but since they didn't literally matter at a point I let them like that

Btw, fm-arena uses regular full-backs to test tactics and as we can see it works just great with IWBs roles so I really don't see what's the point in using DMs or CBs as IWBs... it's like "inventing a wheel" when it's been proved that regular full-backs work just fine.
The problem with this tactic and any other tactic that uses ML/MR positions that there's almost no "natural" ML/MR players in the game so you have to train your Wingers to play ML/MR positions and it might take a lot of time but the position rating has a significant influence - https://fm-arena.com/table/19-playing-position-testing/

The problem ain't the role it self but the majority of wbs won't play the role, because is considered weak-role by most of them in game, that's is gonna decrease your team cohesion.i know pretty well how is setuped arena league mate. Try colwill as iwb and come again
Even on the spaghetti league that I am simulating you can evince that iwbs are underperforming compared to the pinky unicorns ML/R. And on that test I am sure all the roles were involved not just 1 or 2.
@Delicious I think, there's also another important factor to consider, I mean it's obvious that "Speed" is everything in FM but DMs and CBs are the most slowest guys among all positions so I really don't think it's a good idea to use them at the position when you need the faster guys available

I mean, you are right i am not saying you are wrong, but when you actually play those FBWBCWB that play on iwb role, will start to pissing you off like no end. I tried on multiple ways, nothing to do. The only ones that kept a good AVR were CBs that could play on left or right as Accomplished and become natural with training.
I am not saying that's work only this way, but it's the only way i like to play with IWBs.
Overall i do prefer more wbs then iwbs. Because if they start to cry, and you drop cohesion will not be funny for your results at all...
After test this tactic on my arsenal save, i can confirm that this tactic is amazing, average score per game 3 to 6 goal per game, and barely never conceded. I can post my ss later. I combine this tactic with IO from babemonchi in the other post. There is so clear difference when i use OI and not use it. For IWB i use wb with good height, def and physical attributes like singo or dumfries as a right IWB, but thierny on the left side is also played well. and this tactic also good in my brighton save. Since cross from the winger is low cross in this tactic so i dont need tall striker, but i choose striker with good acceleration, score comes from both striker, amc and my CD from corner, i also found that jumping reach more superior than player's height. Good job mate 👍🏻

here's my arsenal. for set piece, if you play with big team try to sign prowse or if you can't get him go for maximilian arnold, in my arsenal i sell a couple player to buy player that i want. pep talk before or during the game, touchline shouts is also important in my opinion.
hai this is my arsenal update, after world cup my team's performance suddenly drop. opponent's goalkeeper played just like oliver khan and their striker was just like messi even though they attributes are not good. i think it's because ME in fm 23. because nothing wrong with my team, they played like before when my team always get big score, but my striker not as lethal as before.

Do you have instructions on attributes for players for each position?
FM23 Spaghetti League - Re Cookie VI
The results on Spaghetti league are :
11x 🍝 Leagues
11x 🍜 Cups

Do you mean OIs or player's stats? I am bit confused

Player stats. Like which stats are more important for each position
Also, do you have any training schedule?

About stats :
Acceleration
Agility
Balance
Pace
Strength
Stamina
Anticipation
Concentration
Determination
Work Rate
Professionalism
Pressure
Those are from Cadoni, but i am sure that are similar from the results that we had on :
https://fm-arena.com/thread/5351-should-you-follow-the-highlighted-attributes-of-the-roles/
I do suggest you to check Part and Part 2 are really interesting results.
Shocking one

man congrats on the tactics but its so hard to get good players that fit tactics of this shape. I am just gonna stick to the 4-2-4

the hard thing is to find good IWBs

Which attributes should I focus on for IWBs? Is it important that my right IWB is left-footed and vice versa for the leftback.

Oh and one more thing, i found that for preferred foot is better if same as sides, ML left footed, MR right footed. Also for both striker
