I tweaked Mermaid 4123 (a tactic by Stephan HK) into a tactic I personally seemed to get better succes with/fitted my team better. I called it after the most famous mermaid: Ariel! I have a version with a false nine and one without. The false nine version seems to be slightly better. Some other people have tried it and they are also having good results with it so I thought I would share it here! Would love to see if people get good results with it!
What is important: a wrong footed left and right back. My wingers I have with their right foot. Also I play with the mentality depending on the match: attacking for most matches, positive for harder home games and counter for harder away games!

Hi everyone! I noticed that there wasn't a tactic yet that was fully fitting for my FC Copenhagen team. I really liked elements of Blue (by ZaZ) and Shaolin 4123 (By StephenHK) so tried mixing them: BlueShaolin.
I will add more results soon but in my personal testing it did really well for me. So if anyone here wants to try it, feel free to

Maybe I am dumb but what do all the "top" tactics score a 5.4 specifically ? Why not one with a 5.5. and other with 5.6 etc. What causes that 5.4 number? What is it based on? What does a tactic need to do to score higher than that 5.4?
First club of my journeyman save, playing with Vojvodina in Serbia. It was my first full year after last season arriving there mid-season after they fired their last manager. This season I was expected to come 4th and well then I kept winning lol.. I came first (unbeaten), won the cup and (even more impressive) I managed to get until the semi-final of the conference league. The semi-final! WIth Vojvodina! The expectation was that I wouldn't even go past the 2nd qualifying round lol
I mostly used the Shaolin 433 v2, but also some 2lit 433 (v1.4) and kung fu 4141. But Shaolin 433 is crazy. My main striker (who was already at the club when I arrived there) scored 39 goals in 43 games. In total I scored 129 goals and had 31 against). Because of the budget and competition rules my squad is fully serbian with one brazilian in there for good luck ;-).
Regarding Shaolin 433 v2 here are my tips and tricks: - Try to use wingers as strikers for the outside striker positions (that guy that scored 39 was origonally a winger). I also noticed quite a lot of goals from these outside strikers by heading but they weren't selected on doing that (they werent terrible at it though) - Your anchor needs to have speed of at least 12 (said by the origonal creator) - I switch to positive mentality for difficult games and to cautious when trying to defend a lead (or in my most difficult away games)

Nice anything you have done besides the right players for the positions?

ZaZ said: I don't want to be mean, but his test has only one run of 40 games. For reference, he tests Blue DM and Blue 3.0 RPM, which is stated very clearly in the post that they are the very same tactic under different names, yet they are separated by 9 points of difference. Not saying Shaolin is not good, but I would recommend will to test a bit more. Expand
Yeah totally agree, but I have seen it go to the top of the list of at least two different tactic test leagues now , same as your tactics 😜 so you guys are onto something
Interesting! StephenHK himself has stated that the 4123 is overall more solid than the 352. Have you tried that one too?

What about the green 5.0 tactic you posted??
Which version of the 4123 are you using ?
