Yea, I don't do anything else anymore besides subs. I used to do shouts, but I've read somewhere that it hardy makes any effect so why bothering with it. I always let the AM do the talks cause I just can't be arsed with it :D
CBP87 said: I just plug and play mate, I use instant result, no match plans etc.. If I lose then it is what it is, but that's just my approach to the game :D others will do it differently of course but with the top tactics, just plugging and playing and buying the right players should do the trick.

I do my own training but I'm out at the moment so can't share it

This is interesting to me, cause I kinda plug and play aswell. I use a simular version of this tactic (as in, a 4321 tactic, but I wanna give yours a go) and I never change anything about it. I was thinking of maybe trying to start using the instant result button, but I was wondering, hence me asking you, does this affect anything? As in, would it be worse to do then watching the game, even though I don't touch anything besides some substitutes here and there?
Bafici said: I can make a guide-like thread on how to use genie scout.

You don't need to create a shortlist. You load and search all the players in the game and then select from there.

Roles doesn't matter as you can see in this thread. You need to check the positional ratings of players.

Oh wow, I havn't seen that topic before. That just throws everything out of the window when it comes to my attribute knowledge. I knew about pace and acceleration and in some positions jumping seemed quite good, but the rest is a surprise to me. Is there any information on what we do need to look out for? Or are those in your screenshots from a copple of posts earlier.

Thanks btw, appreciate the extra lesson.
Bafici said: Yes it doesn't look logical but if you see the attribute testing thread, mentioned attributes doesn't change anything even if all the team has 20 tackling or 20 marking. It looks like it doesn't matter until we have positional tests.

Interesting. I havn't really used genie scout in my saves, but I am curious to try your method out in a new, seperate save. How do I treat the positions though as I for example use a Ball Playing Defender, Inside Forward and Advanced Forward (to name some examples). Cause I noticed genie scout likes to use positons/term I've never played. Do I then check the players positions and use the best score of what position I use in my tactic? Would love to hear some of your feedback regarding how you approuch everything, if possible :)

Defensive- Same for CB-FB-WB-DM

Offensive Same for AMC-WG-FS. For tall striker i made jumping reach 50.

I don't really have much experience with genie scout, but arn't things like heading, tackling and jumping reach really important for a CB?

You also have first touch with an AMC for example on a very low number. Feels to me almost everything is wrong, but as I said, I don't have much experience. Just wondering, not attacking :D
Hey all, been reading all comments and would like to ask if it's okay, in my situation, to change to one of these trainings during a season. Or would you say it's better to wait till the start of a season?

I would also like to ask, to make sure I understand, that with individual training I don't select the player to it's position in my tactic anymore, but leave it at default? Did I understand that correctly?
harvestgreen22 said: They would 100% complain, and then I would ignore them.
My feeling is that these complaints won't have a big impact on morale

If you want to have no complaints, you have to give the responsibility to the Assistant.
Then, set up the training plan and individual training. Select "Only once" when setting up.
This way, it looks like the Assistant is in charge, but you're actually in control.
But NPCS don't complain about NPC , so they have no complaints at all

Okay thanks! As I don't know how to do that 2nd part, I guess I will just ignore the comments then. May I ask, as a follow up question, do you take control of the other teams like U21 and U18 and use the same training schedules? Or do you leave all that standard and to the assistant?
@harvestgreen22 Do you maybe have a thought/idea on players complaining about training in general like the screenshot I posted a copple days ago in this topic? Do you not have this issue? If so, which training schedule do you use then if I may ask?
Steelwood said: What I'm testing atm is whether leaving it to your AM and then pressing "do it once" on general team training and "take control of this player" in individual training actually stops them being quite so upset. If you're always winning then it isn't a huge problem, but one bad result can shift things quickly because they all already have a gripe with you.

We have to find a balance between good development, match results, and injury mitigation

I don't know man. I am in a unemployed save in my 2nd season where I brought a J3 team to J2 league and now at the start of the season, almost every player is unhappy with the training (I am doing L5 from the spreadsheet). Majority of the players, aswell the U21 squad, are unhappy with the training. It's like a virus.
Footballenjoyer said: It's just an email, if you are winning the training complaint isn't going to affect their happiness.

It seems it does though, hence me wondering what I can do about it.
animatron said: Delegate all of your training to assistant manager after arranging them, this will keep your players happy and your assistant manager won't fiddle with your arrangements

Really? I always had the impression that the assistant manager would change things up then. How do you deal with new players as they are not assigned? Change it back to set it up and then back to assistant manager?
So I have been trying L5, but I noticed that some players seem to state that they are unhappy with the additional focus and some players can't seem to grow in it anymore, assuming I should not ignore these messages.

What would I need to do for the main squad, when I see those messages?
