ZaZ said: Another thing I would like to add is that some things don't require immediate credits, because they are overused. For example, I don't think people need to say in every tactic like "set pieces are from ZaZ". It's sufficient if they give credits when asked about set pieces, or to simply correct other people if they try to give them credits for those set pieces. Not sure what other people think about that, though. Expand
Also, not only your set pieces but also instructions are used by most people. That's probably because it's considered the surest way to eliminate uncertainty of performance in the unpredictable FM-Arena testing database.
Regarding this topic, I think the easiest approach to avoid plagiarism is, at least to use this site's feature of searching for the same formation before uploading tactics, and to mention it in the thread if the similiar tactic including instructions already exists.
Here's a Balanced Mentality version of 4-3-3 tactic!
Played whole season by instant result, with proper rotation. In additional another test, it was not as good as the above performance, but the version of balanced mentality seems to be enough to be tested.
Here's a 4-3-3 tactic using a Poacher and two Wide Poachers(Raumdeuter). Interestingly, I found that RMD generally moves like wide poacher, but sometimes like wide helper. I couldn't still decide which Mentality is suitable for best tactic. Maybe, most tactics seem to be using 'Very Attacking' because players' fatigue has little effect on the FM-Arena test. so I decided to do the same. But I hope someone including me finds a great alternative of 'positive' or 'general'
Additionally, in general matches, i found this tactic worked well even if both 'FB-At' were changed to 'FB-su' and 'Very Attacking' was changed to 'Positive'.
Hi, It's a 4-2-3-1 tactic using Poacher. Worried about the loses, but quite satisfied.
(p.s. After uploading this tactic, I found out that my tactic is similar to JohnSariman's one which is already received a high rating. There are several differences such as defensive line, FBs and a Poacher, so it's likely to get a lower rating, but I'd like to say that I only referred to Zaz's PIs and lessons from my previous 4-2-3-1 tactic.)
Hi, here's a 4-2-2-1-1 tactic, using a Target Forward.
First, i'd like to say it is a tweak of the ginnis the greak's outstanding tactic. In addition, TIs follow an excellent default of Zaz's. I want to share the credits with them. (In fact, it is questionable whether this tactic will get a high rating. anyway, I wanna say thank you for always testing tactics!)
In my opinion, the Target Forward is less capable of scoring than the Advanced Forward, but seems to be more suitable for linking play with other teammates. so I think this tactic is as promising as many other tactics using the Advanced Forward.

As you know, the higher the tempo, the more tired the players become. In addition, the 'tackle harder'(PI) applied to all players and the 'counter' and 'counter-press' (TI) also make the intensity higher.
you can lower the defensive line, lower the tempo to "middle," and set "hold shape" instead of "counter," then you will be able to see the effect you want. Also, if the pass length is set to "much shorter," you will not easily lose ball possessions.("short pass" works very well with the 'hold shape' )
It would be effective when playing against underdogs or winning as a top dog.
However, tests on this site show that these changes are generally ineffective for victories.
To think similar to what you think, and I'm trying to make tactics that players can feel as less tired as possible, but I don't think it's easy.
This is an example of a tactic I use when I want to manage the game slowly, although it's not overwhelming.

Thank you!! I'll try to make a new version with your advice.
About being original in this game, it gets harder and harder the close you get to the top, because some instructions and formations simply work well while others just don't work at all. The higher the score, the harder to get away from that set of best instructions and formations. That's why I'm so happy we have such a good variety of formations with 5.8+ score, because in FM21, the best tactic with three defenders was 0.5 points behind the best. Expand
As you say, in the process of discovering which things are effective or ineffective, I think there have been many creative attempts by outstanding users like you. I'm still a lot behind, but I really like it now that there are quite a variety of tactics at the tops.
ZaZ said: Haha, I wouldn't say my directions are always correct. I just test a lot, so I get some hints of what usually works and what doesn't. I'm happy enough that there are different shapes with good results this year, be it with three defenders, three strikers or the basic 442. Expand
WelI... i haven't used all your tactics, but I generally agree with most of your tactical instructions to victories. I just wanted to applaud your many such attempts and outstanding competencies. I'm always thankful.
He wouldn't have done it on purpose. However, among the best tactics on this site, there are always many outstanding tactics by Zaz. so I think it's not bad to always be careful.
Zaz's tactical direction is always correct and outstanding, but I hope there will be more new creative attempts by others.
Hi, This one is a combination of several new attempts.
Since I thought 'counterattack' would reduce defensive efficiency, I decided to take a new approach, 'hold shape' along with 'short pass'
It was very successful with Manchester City, but not with Watford.
I'd appreciate it if you could test it.
Set-pieces are mixed with Zaz's.
(p.s. i'm using this tactic in my custom career game with Westham Utd. Although it is early in the season, it seems to have been very successful so far)

An Example of 4-1-3-2 : 4-1-3-2 Formations

Wanting for tiki taka tactics, i've already did it.
Above tactic did well for Top-dogs, but not good for underdogs sadly...
But anyone could improve that shape hopefully
Based on Revelation and Zaz's Instructions, i made another 4-3-3 tactic using MEZs.
'Mark tighter' on PIs was removed, and 'Passing Directness' was adjusted also.
Balanced Mentality version was also attempted, and it looked promising, so if this Very Attacking version is highly rated, I will try more about it.
Kane scored 94goals! (Indeed, he is an excellent striker with the potential to score such many goals in real soccer. Sad...)

<Changes>
* Standard Defensive Line -> Much higher Defensive Line
* DLP-su -> HB-de
* RMD-at -> IF-at
* Hold shape -> Counter
It's still a little challenging, but I hope it'll get a little higher score.
Thank you!

It's different from what I expected, so I think i need to do some more tests related to this part.
AM-su seems to provide a stable connection on the field. Maybe it's better than SS or AM-at.
