game is pretty unrealistic at the moment or tactics are too good, two top tactic used here one with attacking mentality home and one with standard for away. only one transfer done.
relegation candidate in Polish second division med pred 17! won league and national cup( yes! euro cup next year) with great defence, and just one loan in. console version this time
Hoping someone can help to differentiate the best (actually useful) attributes for two different DM roles. It seems that Volante is definitely a widely used role, but so is DM (Def) - just curious what a good balance/mix of attributes actually is given the importance to Pace/Acc vs Tackling/Marking if I actually want a good DM (Def) to close down games or alternate roles a bit. Or is it just no matter what, even for DM (Def) just get Pacey DMs with decent Jumping Reach and call it a day?
Thanks! Expand
if you mot sure what type of DM works best check out Zlatko's channel, He has great knowladge about this game

Test will tell you which set up and formations works best with current ME, but if You play game right way you can overachieve in Your personal saves with your own formation(even unpopular in test leagues) its all about morale and team building.

Yeah, i was going trough this thread and it looks like people still using ratings from fm21, and just wonder about Your opinion as im new to genie scout, and don't even see it as great help or i just don't know hiw to use it yet😅
second season with Salernitana, we won double. As you can see we invested in Pace a lot, but after testing attributes for last few days i also think that tactic is very important too, and also investing in at least few other attributes then just pace, acceleration is vital.

won league, even i just sim 2nd part of the season, i will try similar in top league. below my volante (DM Competent only) natural winger...but fast he made 18 assists
Zeyad said: from my own recent experience based on what Zippo has been telling us I have been winning the premier league with a player like Fagan-Walcott who is 17 17 speed but less than 100CA. Go look at his stats on FM Inside! I won the league with him and Danso in my defence in my first season with Leeds. I believe player 2 unfortunately is the better option by a country mile.
We all like to apply football common sense to this like "positioning allows him to be slower" but it's clear from the constant brute force tests that the game is designed poorly to reflect football common sense and these speed attributes are game breaking Expand

Who would you buy? Player 1, all highlighted attributes for CD position 15, pace and acceleration 12 Player 2, all highlighted attributes for CD position 12, pace and acceleration 15?

great tactic!
I found tallest and slowest striker(Target Man) in the middle and speed left and right
Fantastic results with Salernitana! Well done Paulo Sousa
I filter attributes like Zippo was testing with Bournemouth:
https://fm-arena.com/thread/3293-what-it-takes-to-dominate-epl-with-bournemouth/
I set for example playing in premier league all 7 attributes to 12/13 and pace highest possible, for CD's all 7 attributes 12/13 and pace jumping reach highest possible.

Yes me too, my logic tells me that good positioning can allow CD's to be slower.
Player 1, all highlighted attributes for CD position 15, pace and acceleration 12
Player 2, all highlighted attributes for CD position 12, pace and acceleration 15?
Thanks
