Could you test this one please? Undefeated in league with Liverpool, only 11 goals conceded, won UCL final 4:0 against Real.
EDIT:
Small tweaks after playing a full season with Schalke, not 100% sure if they make tacitc better when it comes to general testing, but I've been pretty happy with the results in my season with Schalke:
Central Defenders -> BPD Distribution to full-backs instead of flanks Added "move into channels" and "roam from position" to attacking midfielder Changed defending corners - really happy with that one, not a single goal conceded from corners entire season Small positioning change in attacking corners to better prevent counter-attacks
2nd in the table, won the cup in the first season (media prediction 10th).
Time-wasting tactic to use in the last 10-15 minutes of the game to defend the lead:
V3 Update:
- Updated set pieces (the previous ones were a bit outdated because I've kind of forgot about this tactic for a while) - Removed Pass it shorter from wingers - Removed Slowed pace down, throw it long and distribute to full-backs from distribution - Added Roll it Out to distribution
V3.5 Update:
- Removed Pass it shorter from central defenders - Added Get Further Forward to wingers and fullbacks
Nice, really satisfying amount of goals and wingerless formation doing pretty good in the tests opens up a lot of options for future tactical creation. Thank you for the test.
You're right very attacking produces really inconsistent results, I have one more tactic coming that I have ready and also produced amazing results with Liverpool, it's with attacking mentality and should be much better.
List of changes: Passing: Shorter -> Slightly More Direct (2 ticks up) Tempo 1 tick down (but it stays as Slightly Higher due to changes in passing) Removed Pass Into Space Removed Overlaps Removed Distribute to Fullbacks Central Defenders -> Ball Playing Defenders (with a couple PIs added) Changes to set pieces (defending corners, attacking free kicks, attacking corners)
Should definitely improve consistency of the tactic. Undefeated season in a test run with Liverpool - undefeated in league and didn't even drop a single game in cups, won everything. I'd appreciate it if it could be tested at some point - much more consistent in my tests than the V1 version that was tested.
V1: Could you test this please? 107 points with Liverpool, smashed Bayern in UCL final 7:0
ZaZ - Red has 0.105 more goals from corner than this tactic so this should be an easy possible tweak for anyone interested. And it's not even like this corner setup is much more defensively solid - these are TFF's corners from last year, Maverick's Gunslinger was also using them and if you watch the games you'll notice that conceding goals from counterattacking corners, majority of the times happens because the opponent has a faster striker than your defenders - number of players staying back does not resolve that issue.
If you're really worried about not having enough guys back, put the guy marking the keeper from ZaZ - Red corner setup to stay back - it does not hurt the scoring from corners that much, while giving you a little bit more defensive safety.

Maybe this one could be retested, seeing the recent success of strikerless tactics on this patch? I can run a few quick holiday tests if some results are needed first.
Probably not enough differnce between your previous tactic and this one to guarantee a test, it's just a single role that's different, everything else is the same.
Could you test this please? Test teams were Man United and Porto, media prediction was 12th and 19th at the beggining of the season (Test league is just a league where I've put all the highest reputation teams together and holidayed the entire season, no freezing or anything like that).
Could you test this please? 2nd place with Man United but only because City had an amazing season, 87 points is enough to win league most of the time (this was a holiday test, I didn't touch anything). Won Champions League and UCL convincingly, performes better in my tests than V1 (especially defensively).
