Cryns said: How do IWBs work regarding their foot proficienty? Walker is right footed and Ake is left footed, i thought IWB played on the opposite side of the field of their preffered foot.

In my experience it does not matter what foot they are with respect to what side. However, they do benefit from being two footed.

Hello, I would like for this tactic to be retested in the new patch if possible. I included the screenshots for a run done in 23.3. I think the new update might have made this tactic less effective.

pixar said: Frankly, I was quite surprised by the result. It is interesting that the tactic based on it scored 58 points, but it is such a low score with a very small touch. Moreover, while the "be more disciplined" instruction and the new set-piece settings are a factor that has a positive effect on most tactics.

Hey Pixar! The only difference that I think might be affecting performance is that the striker is targeted on the corners. I do not believe that the strikers used in the FM Arena testing database are aerial threats. I also would not be surprised if my original tactic got a "good roll" with RNG. Perhaps "be more disciplined" is only beneficial for certain formation shapes.
Narrow XMAS Tree 4321. Using a half-back with aggressive wingbacks.

Nice Tactic!

@Delicious See I knew it could work! With the two-back!
Trying out a 451. Not sure how good it will be because CMs are not the best this year. CMs on move into channels.

Filer974 said: I had already done a test with Mainz in holidays test this time I did it by playing all the matches. It's like in a dream. Congratulations on this tactic.0 Transfer and Burkardt injured every return match...

I am glad it's working for you!
Narrow 41212 diamond formation. Trying out CMAs with stay wider and run wide with ball.

Same as the previous tactic but with WBs on attack and AMs on support. Same style as my redux 352 formation.

Testing the half-back role in the midfield to see if it causes a notable decrease in performance

This version is not asymmetrical and uses the double BWM-S midfield

Narrow 4312 with wingbacks and no flank instructions

Going to try out a bunch of narrow formations. This first one is an asymmetrical 4222N.

Delicious said: Nooo BABY!! i wanted to try something like that as well! Let's see how it score it seem crazy!

Yeah, I think it could have some potential with IW/IF on stay wider. I just like defensive wingers so I included it with them. Let's see what the FMArena league thinks of it though.
Trying out this weird formation

Added stay wider on CBs and new set pieces

Trying out a new shape. Interested to see how the DW does on its own.

AM's on attack
