I've decided to take square of a product from multiplication those features (SQR(Attribute1 * Attribute2) * Coefficient). This way you can keep it proportional to the coefficient. I don't know how it works with your files. I assume that for spreadsheet it's not an issue. What about GenieScout? Does it support other mathematical operations? If not I'd suggest just to get rid of those 2 features (since they are last important for given positions) and adjust others to sum up to 100% just like you did for the other positions. Expand
Genie doesn't allow such mathematical operations unfortunately. Spreadsheet would be 1:1 replica of the coefficients. If you have time and patience i would suggest using the spreadsheet. You can still use the Genie ratings they are very close to spreadsheet.

You can't intergrate them into ratings unfortunately. You can put a filter when you are searching

I match the highest number to 100 and scale the rest according to that. Like this for example.
GK Agi (0,014640/0,014640)*100 = 100 Ref (0,012837/0,014640)*100 = 88 Aer (0,011812/0,014640)*100 = 81 Thr (0,007465/0,014640)*100 = 51 Com (0,007436/0,014640)*100 = 51 Han (0,006255/0,014640)*100 = 43 Dec (0,005089/0,014640)*100 = 35

I suppose it doesnt really matter if we are just picking the best player from the list though. Also seems to be an error on the ST. Don't know if it's with me or the ratings but when looking at my own team all ST ratings are 0.00% Expand
I didn't touch the weightings because i need to make calculations to make the best players rating %100. Like @kvasir said Haaland becomes 99% but if a player has 20 in all the important attributes his rating can past %100. After all its just a cosmetic thing.

Can you try to change the layout after you load the players. I think there is a bug, if it doesn'T work you can use the normal layout or create one yourself.
flob said: I don't know if it's just me overthinking it, but I still find it a bit rough regarding positions, because both striker positions in your view say that my strikers are not the best for it's potition. I use advanced forward attack, but unsure how to look at it as your view has FS/TS. Expand
Roles doesn't matter in terms of attribute requirements. FS is the exact ratings with the tests. I would use this one for Advanced Forward.
In TS i made jumping reach a bit more important, nothing else is different. This can score more if you aim corners to this player.

- When opening FM Genie Scout and putting on your layout and ratings. When I close the app and open it again, let's say tomorrow, will the ratings still be loaded or do I have to do that part every time? I noticed the layout stays, just wondering if that's the same for ratings.
- When looking for a player, do you have an .. amount of % you aim for as a bare minimum? Let's say I look for a new AMR, do I only look at 70%+ best position rating? Reason for asking, most players seem to be extremily expensive so I was wondering how people deal with this. Expand
Everything will be still loaded.
I don't have a minimum rating in my mind because i don't know the maximum rating in that position. I just sort best to worst. You can check your squads rating and then apply that rating as minimum.
There is a lot of questions regarding how to do certain things in Genie Scout(GS) so i hope this helps.
First we need to setup the program to suit our needs.
1-You need to download This for FM24 OR This for FM26 from @GeorgeFloydOverdosed and put it in C:\FM Genie Scout\Ratings.
2-Open GS and from top left select the files we just put in.It will have a different name than Football Manager 2016
3-Open FM and load your save. Go back to GS and Select Load Game. You will see a loading bar down below. This process can take a minute depending on how many players in your save.
4-After everything is loaded click on Red Filter button. For example I don't want players who have lower than 120 PA. You can search for everything you want.
5-These are all the players in the game who has 120PA at least. Down below you can see there is 27.304 players. You can sort the players according to positions.
THESE PART IS FOR FM24. I DIDN'T TEST THIS IN FM26 6-I can hear you say "i don't want to see every player, i only want to see the players who are interested in joining me.". Don't worry, i got you covered.
After you filter the players you want, Press CTRL+A > Right Click > Add players. This will add all the players into "my shortlist" tab.
Go to that tab and save shortlist. Go into game > load this shortlist and put a tick "interested in" box. You assistant will filter the players who wants to join the club.
7-While you're in shortlist screen in the game click this button in GS and voila! Now you only see the players who are interested in your club.
** You can view your own squad if you click this button and type your club name.

Yes it doesn't look logical but if you see the attribute testing thread, mentioned attributes doesn't change anything even if all the team has 20 tackling or 20 marking. It looks like it doesn't matter until we have positional tests.

Ratings
Can you try to change the layout after you load the players. I think there is a bug, if it doesn'T work you can use the normal layout or create one yourself.
Depends on my team. I try to buy the highest rating i can. I can't sign 80 rating player when playing in English league 2 for example.
I also mainly look at sale value besides rating. I'm chasing bargains. Can't spend 100 mil on a player
Roles doesn't matter in terms of attribute requirements. FS is the exact ratings with the tests. I would use this one for Advanced Forward.

Roles doesn't matter as you can see in this thread. You need to check the positional ratings of players.
Default place is C:\ FM Genie Scout 24 > Ratings. Put file in this folder.
Open Genie Scout and click on the button on the top left. You will see a menu where it says rating. Select fmarena
I didn't put any rating for mc's in the file. It depends on what you want. I would use offensive.
