I would say any tactic above the score of 60, should overachive at any level, depending on your team

It's been tested and explained when it comes to a normal season that consists of 38 matches then the RNG can be as high as +/- 25 points so in a theory when playing a normal season then your result might be better with a "40" pts tactics than with a "60" pts tactic.

Also, it's been said many times that if the difference between tactics is less than 6 points in the fm-arena tactic testing then in a normal save they would work the same and the difference between this tactic and TH P97 is less than 1 point, which is absolutely nothing and fells into the RNG range, which never can be less than 1 points.

Do you have any explanation, why these top tactics have two instructions:
- PI for Full Backs - stay wider,
- Underlap instructon when in possesion.

It makes no sense for me, but still works 🤪

Also as I have tested with different teams, using the same PIs for FB in this tactic results in rather poor results for non-424 formations

from my understanding you want players to drag out opponents defenders inside pitch and fullbacks stay wider to give them the ball and plenty of space to cross or create goal opportunity since they are best players in this match engine

Hey, the balanced mentality should work fine but please don't expect to win every game, you're going to lose some games. Concentrate on getting the fastest squad you can get, acceleration and pace is key. If you have high values in these attributes then you should win most games

Thanks, it's been working great in my save so far. Was just asking since my assistant would often say to switch to a positive mentality

Hey, I train the players in the roles I want to use them in, but I also look at additional focus, I focus on physicals, so if they lack acceleration and pace, I will train quickness. My guidelines are if its 15 or under Ill focus on it

In these holiday tests I leave it to the AM but when I'm playing a save I do my own training schedules
