I've simulated EPL 2022-23 season five times to see what result it produces and found that Liverpool won the league 4 of 5 times, Man City won it only once and always got the 2nd place.
Btw, I was managing Nottingham Forest, one of the weakest team in the league if you look at the prediction table.
Usually, the match engine changes drastically in the next few months after the release so probably in Dec/Jan the match engine will significantly different from what we get in the beta.
Delicious said: @Nikko Terzino is more stable @F9jobless and foundajob are more offensive. But i dont know if you read the edit, you can make it w/e you like, i've tested even double Mezzala w/o losing that much on defense. Those are more test, to me they like all pretty similar but numbers DR(GD) are different. Expand Thanks, for the detailed explanation.

No, as I said I completely ignore U18 and U23 teams.
If U18 and U23 lack players for matches then the game generates "grey" players and adds them to the teams ( they don't cost anything ) so it's always have enough players for matches.
Middleweight165 said: How does this work out in the long term? Does the AI move players who are too old for the U18 to the U23s? What happens when players are too old for the U23s, does the AI sell them?
This is my concern, that the AI will turn the club into chaos Expand
Picking eligible players for matches is the only duty AI has in that case
If I'm not mistaken you also can delegate the training of U18 and U23 to the assistant manager
The assistant manager doesn't do any transfers and he doesn't move players between U18, U23 and the main team. He just picks players for matches and that's all.
Here's my result with Newcastle
If my memory serves me he's got in his contract a 100M release clause.
So if you want to keep him then you need to offer him a new contract without a release clause.
We've re-tested your tactic with adjusted attributes for the Target Forward.
Adjusted Attributes - https://fm-arena.com/tactic/4647-442-dycheball-adjusted-attributes/
Default Attributes - https://fm-arena.com/thread/4482-442-dycheball/
Acceleration 15->13
Pace 15->13
Jumping Reach 9->15
Strength 11->16
Height 175cm->190cm
Default Attributes of Target Forward

Yup, and I'd say that's an expected result.
The conversion of Pace, Acceleration into Jumping Reach and Strength made the tactic lose 2 points, even the increased height didn't help.
It helped me winning BundesLiga and DFB-Pokal Cup with Borussia Dortmund.
It looks interesting.
Have you tried it any "professional" league?
I'm afraid you'll get butchered with it in any top league... you should give it a go in EPL
that's true but there'll be many patches and I'm sure that we'll get a "finished" product only by the end of the year

Yes, I delegate it to the assistant manager
As I said, U18s and U23s teams are completely irrelevant to me
