I never manage U18s and U23s because I find it's too boring.

If I see a massively talented U18s player then I put him straight into my main team

I don't bother with developing average U18 players
The reputations of U18s and U23s leagues aren't high enough to allow players reaching their full potential playing in them.

To reach their full potential players must play in very high reputable leagues as English Premier League, La Liga and other similar league.

The same rules apply to real life football, Messi would never become the person who he is now if he played only 5-10 matches for Barcelona in La Liga every season. So to reach their full potential players must play as many competitive matches as possible.

In FM you can say "it's enough" only when you have all the best players in the game in your team. Usually, the best players have their CA in a range 180-200.

As you can see your team is no where near to be "enough" because the CA of your best player is only "169" and the highest CA in the game is "200" so there's still a lot of space to "grow".

Bring in your team 180-190 CA players and I'd say only then you can say that you're close to say it's enough".

Zippo said: As you can see any attempt to brute-force cracking the Match Engine by testing all possible tactic variations would be an absurd idea
I more than agree with that

Zippo said: There're about 1,144,066 possible formation variations in the game
even if you remove some crazy formations like only 1 defender and so on and leave only about 40 formations that can be considered as the most reliable formation then you still have like 60,466,176 different tactics to test and to get this number I took into consideration only the duties and roles but if I would considered the Team Instruction and Set Piece then I can only image how many additional zeros that number would get
ZaZ said: Sure. I still have to run it to get results. I didn't save them since I wasn't going to post the tactic.

How is it going? Any results yet? :)
@Marconni1985, you should also add a screenshot of the tactic.
CM93 said: Full disclaimer the base of this tactic is one of Knaps top performers but I made changes to the three midfielders and that scored higher in my tests.

As I can see the set pieces, TIs and the most of the roles/duties are from this tactic - Positive Tiki Taka ( Different Tweaks )
good efforts, pal

ZaZ said: Yeah. I made a light tactic for when the match is won, but you can make it even lighter by reducing tempo, pressure, line of engagement and setting to waste time often. It's just that you can only train three tactics at once.

But let's say you're Norwich and you lead by 2-3 goals vs Liverpool and in this case I really don't want use anything "light" and I'd rather to use something "rock solid" and "time wasting"
ZaZ said: You can, but waste time will decrease the performance of any tactic.

but there're scenarios when you lead like 2-3 goals and it's about 30 mins left and I think in such scenarios you really don't care about the general tactic performance because the solidity of the defense is more important at that moment
ZaZ said: Remove one striker and pray.

Obviously, 1 man advantage is a huge advantage for the opposition but it isn't tragic as it might look and if at that point you already have a lead by 1 goal or more then you still a good chances to keep the winning score or at least grab a draw.

I usually remove one of the advanced forwards and play with these combinations:

1) Advanced Forward + Shadow Striker
2) Advanced Forward + Central Midfielder
3) (Strikerless) Shadow Striker + Shadow Striker

It's very important no to make a huge mistake and play with 2 Advanced Forwards because you'll be just smashed.

especially about shadow striker

you can download the game saves of the tests and check that out
thepunisher23 said: hello in the event of a red card, what modification should be made?

when some of my players gets a red card then I remove one of the advanced forwards and move the remaining advanced forward to the central position but If I want to be even more solid at the back then you can play with 2 Shadow Strikes instead or Advanced Forward + Central Midfielder ( Attack ).
lulustucru07 said: Hello, do you have any idea when the next fm22 patch will be released?

probably, somewhere the end of February
Valencia, media pred. is 7th

Honestly, I didn't expect winning the league but that happened :)

The tactic seems to be very solid.
