Could you run a test where the schedule is:
1xQuickness and the additional focus on Strength?
I would say there also could be an issue in terms of testing short corner routines, whether they end up being counted as a corner goal in the statistics.

Basically these 3. The one with physical, match practice, attacking and defending most recently based on the excel sheets, the others for basically 3 or 4 seasons each

The team doesn’t play well — it never plays well with these training sessions. Ideally, I’d like to find a mix between training that works, training that’s ‘bugged’ the way I’d want it to be, and strong performances on the pitch. Any ideas?

Can't say it's been like that for me. 2 first seasons in my Hoffenheim save we finished 2nd and won the cup and after that won a treble every season.

Do you mean this?
"quickness, match practice, 2 x attacking "+ [Addtional Focus Strengh (Strengh,Jumping reach)]

Alternatively, you could simply list the "conditions" + the "training schedule" . Then I can copy it directly and test it.

Of course. What i mean is pretty much what you said.

Quickness, match practice, 2x Attacking + Focus on strength

Here is my Hoffenheim squad. As you can see the training schedules have been to good use and the pace has clearly become quite good on most of my players. The jumping reach though is another thing, it seems to me alot more inconsistent.
This has made me wonder if you guys have tried the schedules in actual saves and achieved more players that me that get fast, but also get their jumping reach. I've been thinking of trying to give every player aerial as a focus for half a season and half a season on quickness to see if i achieve a better balance on it. I will report back if i notice anything interesting.
On the other hand i would love to see you guys using these schedules in actual saves and what results you achieve with it.
@harvestgreen22 Out of interest could you run some tests where there is quickness in the actual schedule, for example the the recent quickness, match practice, 2xattacking. But instead of quickness as the individual focus have it on aerial? i would like to see how much jumping reach can potentially be gained in comparison with how much acc and pace you lose

Thanks fella
Anyone know if there is a way to setup the auto rest thing for the youth teams? Might be missing something obvious, but i can't seem to find anywhere to do rest and double intensity settings for them
Eddie said: I believe we've gathered some good empirical material. Now we need a training tutorial.

I also realize that after 25 years old it's difficult to increase speed and acceleration attributes. Should we persist or try individual training in another area?

In FM 26, is Rest or Recovery better? Or is there not much difference?

When there are two games a week, what's the best schedule for FM 26?

1 offensive; 1 math practice + 1 acceleration and the rest rest or recovery? Or just one acceleration and the rest rest? Or what?

This is what i've done.

So the schedule is based on what @GeorgeFloydOverdosed suggested. It is set up for a save where the matches are only played on wednesday and saturday. So this way i always get super rest on monday. And no matter whether the games are away or home all the training modules are done.

Also regarding whether to use rest or recovery, i've no clue in terms of if either option gives better training. Anecdotally though i seem to get less injuries when just using rest, maybe the extra superrest sometimes midweek does more than the supposed injury prevention from recovery sessions.
So this might just be me, however when using this kind of schedule, aiming to improve the meta attributes with additional focus on quickness, i find mostly my players aged 24 and above don't really improve their Acc and Pace. In these instances would it perhaps be an option to then move the focus to something like ball control, to try and improve dribbling? Considering it's still one of the more important attributes, but also more likely to improve than the physical ones? I could be chatting out my ass here, but it make sense in my head.

B teams not in loadable leagues(like German Regional) usually do not develop much after 18 even if you micro manage the roster to make sure guys get phantom games. This may be CA dependent because the especially bad players that I move to the 2nd team to prevent them taking time from better prospects in the youth team tend get up arrows for a year or so before stopping.

Getting consistent 20-30 minutes of game time in blowouts for the first team gets more development than youth teams.

This may be selection bias since I'm more likely to force game time for high PA players.

What i assumed aswell, which brings me to the point of how much micromanagement of your youth teams is even worth it, in terms of applying these schedules. I have been doing a couple of test sims with Arsenal. Here i've kept Dowman, Nwaneri, Lewis-skelly in the youth teams, and while the physicals do get 1-2 added each a season, the rest of the attributes didn't seem to develop all that much. Which i assume is because of lack of first team football(correct me if i'm wrong please).

For reference the schedule i used was 2x match practice, quickness and overall.
I hope some of you guys know this, because i don't.
How much value do the u18 and u21 games have in comparison to first team football, in terms of generating player growth? I seem to remember first team football being more valuable. Am i wrong?
