I'm super curious if it ends up above liar.

What do you think @Gaksital

I'm also curious.
Unfortunately, the manager seems to have determined V2 has not changed much from v1.

Perhaps, the instability of the defensive area could lead to a lower rating than 'liar'.

I also try to think that tactics that are not tested by the policies of this site have reasonable grounds.

Really want my drifting tactic tested. but
Maybe testing all tactics with only a small change will overload the site's traffic.

According to this link:

Perhaps, if V2 receives good feedback from many users, it may be tested.
cavariFM said: great 4-2-3-1 !

i was wondering if Son wouldn't be better as an advanced forward with his dribling and pace and Kane as the attacking forward ? what do you think

Thank you:D
You mean, to place Son on advanced forward and Kane on shadow striker?

That's exactly how I used them in my game, and Son won the top scorer.
commute said: I'm using your 4231 spurs V2. I love it.

Do you think it's your best 4231? Better than Lair and spurs V1?

If your squad quality isn't low, I think Spurs v2.0 is the best tactic.
The tactic will give you the most number of goals and the funniest attack of all my 4-2-3-1 tactics, including some prototypes.
Liar tactic, on the other hand, weigh on stability, provides monotonous attacks but can also be used effectively for teams with bad squads.

Thank you for using my tactics well.
commute said: I love your 4231 tactics.

But 451s don't work. No adjustments make them work.

It's not effective on 21.

The data says so.

Appreciate what you do and the time it takes to pump out these tactics.but would love it if the super tacticians on this site work with the data and focus more on the formations that work.

If we are all bored of strikerless formations why don't we make different ones with different gameplays. Play around with different roles. Etc.

I totally agree with your opinion.

Now I realize it's time to throw away my useless stubbornness of not pursuing strikerless formations...

Furthermore, I am sorry and grateful to Arena manager for responding to my exhausted, ignorant tactic test requests for a few days.
@Zippo

From now on, I will take a long break from making tactics, think more deeply, test thoroughly, and come back.

Thank you for leaving a good comment, bro :)
@Zippo

-> V2 tactic has been added here!

Tactic :

The defense is significantly stronger than v1. I have conducted two holiday tests using Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs. (I haven't touched anything all season)

MU's results :

Manchester United won the Premier League title with the most goals and the least loses in the league table. Furthermore, they achieved the treble, including the Champions League and FA Cup trophies.

When it comes to general performance of MU, results are as follows;
ExG per game - 2.50 / G per game - 2.58 / ExL per Game - 0.68 / Loses per Game - 0.58

Spurs' results :

Tottenham's result was more disappointing than Manchester United, but striker Harry Kane and left wing Son Heung-min scored so many goals that they were placed in the rankings.

When it comes to general performance of Spurs, results are as follows;
ExG per game - 1.71 / G per game - 2 / ExL per Game - 1.06 / Loses per Game - 1

-> It's no wonder the quality of the squad is important, but given the results above, the key of my tactic is that it shows higher efficiency when using faster and better scoring wingers.

I would appreciate it if this tactic is tested. Thank you.
Tactic :

This interesting tactic is very aggressive, with three aggressive players each on the left and right.

The following screenshots are holiday results in Leicester City's first season.
So, if you play yourself and make proper rotation, you will get even better results.

Result:

Detailed records :

G per Game - 2.68
ExG per Game - 2.12
Loses per Game - 1.18
ExL per Game - 0.95

Positioning when attacks in game :

If you look at the position when attacks,
Mezzala, Inverted winger, and wingback form triangle shapes on both sides. Their solid links led to an incredible number of goals.

After all, it ranked first in the Goals and the Goal difference!
But it ranked 3rd overall due to a lot of losses.

I would be very happy if this tactic is tested. Thank you.
https://fm-arena.com/thread/1297-spurs-v2-0/

The newly added v2.0 tactic is in this thread. Both attack and defense achieved much more satisfactory results than v1. If you need it, refer to it.
@Zippo

I added a new version of tactics to this thread.

tactic and results :

heat-map and pass-game map :

I've added new guideline "pass into space", and attacking width has also been modified.

Both central midfielders and wingers have given new roles for scoring more goals.

I also made some adjustments to personal guidelines.

It's all Holiday results.

Leicester City finished the season in the 3rd on the table.

Vardy and Maddison took the lead in both scoring and assists, respectively.

These are obviously very good results compared to my other existing tactic tests.

I would be very happy if this tactic is tested. Thank you.
Thank you for mentioning me in your tweak:D

If this tactic is tested, I hope there will be great progress with more goals than my original version.
master4yoda said: Oh, that's my bad. i haven't seen this, sorry.

It's okay... it's not your fault if you really didn't know.

The original producer is furious now.
This tactic seems to have recently been stolen from FMKOREA and uploaded to the Steam community, and was reported inappropriate by FMKOREA users to the Steam community.

Many users are proving this on YouTube of the user who stole this tactic.

Tactic :

Belgium line-up (vs Portugal) and In-game positioning :

Results(MU and Tottenham) :

This tactic is based on the tactic used by the Belgium national team in the EURO.

After watching Belgium vs Portugal in the EURO Round of 16, I was impressed by Thomas Vermaelen's performance as a sweeper in the middle of the back-three.

Although the well-organized defensive movement could not be implemented as it is, it seems to have succeeded in making good results in the game.

Those are all holiday results.

Using the in-game editor, I gave midfielder position ability to existing wingback position players like Luke shaw and Reguilon, and proceeded with the holiday without touching anything else until the season finished.

All defensive positions needed fast players.

MU achieved the treble and Tottenham finished 3rd on the table.

Can you test this tactic? Thank you.
Very good tactic! it reminds me of Belgium national team!
Zippo said: @Gaksital, there's no need to create a new thread if you want to add a new version, it's better to do that in the existing thread.

I suggest you to get familiar with this - https://fm-arena.com/thread/826-information-regarding-the-way-we-pick-tactics-for-the-testing/

I've already read the article, so I've uploaded this tactic together on an already existing thread. However, I uploaded it again to a new thread because it seemed not to be tested...

Now I got it, and I will upload it as you advise next time. thank you for reminding me.
Added in a v2.0 to this thread!!

-> Updated new version 2.0 below

* Added BPDs instead of CDs
* Left winger was given an attacking role instead of a support role.
* Deep-lying Playmaker was given an support role instead of a defending role.
* 'Dribble less' guidelines have been applied to BPDs and DLP-su

The results of the season showed remarkable improvement in offense, achieving Quadruples including the PL, Europa Leauge, Carabao Cup and Fa Cup.

It is really satisfying that the influence of left winger Sonny and striker Harry Kane has improved significantly.

Tactic :

Season results :

Positioning when offense :

* It shows a 2-2-2-3-1 formation, with a balanced attack on both the left and right sides.

Positioning when defence :

* It shows an asymmetric 4-3-2-1 formation, with the right wing descending downward and moving defensively.

I hope it will be the last version with a good rating.
Test plz.
It is a tactic designed in hopes of a successful 21–22 season for Tottenham Hotspur.

Among my previous tactical personal guidelines, I removed 'mark firmly' for more creative attack.

For a more direct attack, 'DLP-De' and 'Mezzala-su' were added.

It is most effective when a player with good dribbling is located on the left wing.

I think this tactic will be far more powerful than 'Liar' in terms of pursuing creative counterattacks.

Half of the season was on holiday

Finished 3rd in the PL and won the Europa League title.

Test please. Thanks.
Some changes to team guidance and personal guidance.
It is much more aggressive than v1. But the defense is unstable.
Test please.

I'm sure this tactic is more stable than any 4-2-3-1 tactic I've ever made.
Been on holiday all season and never applied any rosters.
I could have been lucky...
Hope to have a rating above 6.0.
Test please. Thank you.

Here are the PI's for FMTouch users!
Spoiler
V1.5 :

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

08/14/2021

v1.5 has been added to this thread!
(I also uploaded it to the test manager. But it's okay if this tactic isn't tested because it's probably a minor modification:))

1. Added new set-pieces(by @Magician )

2. Changed CDs to BPDs

3. Deleted Instruction of 'distribute to fullbacks'

I tried to implement 'Overload to isolation', the tactical key of Modern football. The result wasn't as good as expected, but the movement in game was great.
Test please. Thank you.
It's the best tactic for 'Shadow Striker' and 'Advanced Forward'.and also upgraded tactic that reinforces both defense and offense from v1. Test please. Thank you
