ZaZ said: True, it's very similar. I would start removing that Dribble Less if I were you. The new animation system seems to make dribbling even stronger than last year, I've seen players winning 1v1 with extreme ease.

Very true though my idea was I wanted the midfield just to pump balls to the front three without dribbling but that seems counterproductive. But on't you notice the players dribble less in the highlights than compared with fm21?

I was in the middle of working on a tweak for my 4-3-3 but there is no need now, yours is the best one just battered City in CL and your corners are ridiculously op
ZaZ said: Added a version with DLP moved to SS in case someone wanna try. Results don't seem to be too different for strong team, so it's an option if you have a good AM instead of a DM.

I had the same idea for my formation but obviously your instructions proved to be superior

well done ZaZ, its my favourite shape and you nailed it. Can't wait to try it out and you smashed the GF's record
Goals goals and more goals this tactic is going to guarantee

Enjoy
Telstar said: I like tactics with 3 up top since FM 16. Though I do wish people would show tactic results with a team other than Liverpool. Almost every tactic is good with OP team like Liverpool. :(

Trust me it's not as simple as choosing a tactic picking liverpool and simming and winning everything especially unorthodox tactics .

Maybe that was the case last year but this year your tactic has to be solid across the season because other big teams like city, chelsea, man utd and even arsenal are coded to do very well in the league and cups.

I had to tweak this tactic a lot for it to be both solid offensively and defensively as its on attacking mentality
As usual my tactic is about domination, goals and total obliteration

Enjoy

Please test
I'm loving your tactic so far, play it for away games and its very dominating. I changed one of the target men to poacher though which I find suits my striker balance better plus poacher is op it seems this version

Good to see strikers are back being deadly this year
Nice tactic, works very well.
avonseller said: It seems like strikerless is no longer as effective

Let's hope so.
scalp said: it would be better if my tactics were tested

FM21 is old news, so don't expect tactics to be tested for it
Let the games begin....

My PC is ready
alex said: Why do you think in the Liverpool test, the other 2 "strikers" didn't score so much? Salah scored a massive amount but the other 2 scored much less

Don't know. Liverpool only have mane as their other considerable threat.

Salah was probably the focal point of the team that season.

The liverpool test is for their 1st season, the other test results were in my third season with considerable better quality up front and all three attackers had high number of goals but the SS in the centre seems to always score the most goals.
Middleweight165 said: Better than your Wavez 3-1-6 tweak? Thats what I am currently using

Yeah I think so, at least for me it is, because it's even more consistent, leaks less goals due to the midfield and defence being better set up and get to play with three up top which just overwhelms the opposition but I do think you get more goals especially for the AM out of the tweak your using.

I'm having a lot more fun with this tactic to be honest. I just sit back and enjoy while my team steam rolls through everything

If you got a great striker that can be converted to AM/SS it's game over. Give it a try
Stan Seymour said: 145 g, 25 c. It's massive.

Yeah I had an incredible season with this tactic.

My favourite definitely. It's so defensively solid yet so deadly in attack, perfect balance

Now just looking forward to FM22 even though there doesn't look like there's much changes but looking forward to messing around with new tactics and the new wide centre back role to see how that comes into play.
- Changed CM to centre as automatic

- Changed Anchor to DLP

- Added slightly more direct passing

- Changed narrow width to wide

- Added pass into space

Defence

- Added get stuck in

- Changed centre defenders to ball playing defenders to cover

- changed to force opposition inside to outside
Middleweight165 said: @Metal do you make a changes based on the quality of opposition you are playing?

No

But I've made a new tweak WITH TWO ROAMING PLAYMAKER IN DEFENSIVE MIDFIELD

Added get stuck in

added tighter marking

removed dribble less

removed play through the middle

removed overlap

and ran a test with Liverpool and won the quadruple.

This should definitely get an improved rating so please test
alex said: @Metal  what are the modifications for the defense? Would want to tweak that but keep the attack as it is. Thanks

Sure alex I will post the changes soon when I get some time.
Middleweight165 said: @Metal This doesnt look like you've improved @Stan Seymour tactic. Your Utd team in the other thread performed better than Liverpool in this no?

They performed better because I was in my third season and made signings and was playing it

Liverpool no signings and standard test.

I think like Stan said too many instructions why it performed slightly worse, some changes are vital though because I definitely feel the defence is better and attack is more direct.

Will do another test later
hahaha 6.3 and I'm getting better results than my other tactic I created which got 6.5

I never got these kind of scores against the big teams. Total obliteration
ZaZ said: I think you could look for inspiration in the Tank tactic. It also uses three defenders and has similar attack power, but the defense is more solid and the results are more consistent.

I wanted to keep the exact same shape with the three man midfield and same attack philosophy/mentality because I think it's genius and easy to build the team around. I also didn't want to do a disservice to the original creator and change the formation around just to concede less and then calling it an improvement.

There are many easy ways of tightening the defence but then the attack is compromised and I didn't want to take that facet of play away in this tactic where the attack is an endless barrage of shots to goal where you always have a high xg

I used inspiration from my own experience with the M.E, knowing the exploits and previous tactics that I've made and used where I enjoyed certain patterns of play and carefully synthesized them all together so on the pitch it plays exactly how I want the game to play out which is complete total domination and supremacy over the opponent whether big or small and making the most of out the forwards to ensure they get high numbers and become candidates for individual awards
