Chris
That's an interesting thread, thank you for the information, I'll be using it.
I am interested aswell ^^

Sorry to spoil it for you here but I would play this tactic because it allows for different ways of team building in the match but don't expect big differences from yours because the philosophy is similar.

Regarding your second question I really don't know since I don't monitor/check/test other people's tactics.

Thank you for your time :)

I'm surprised you didn't get any response to this thread.

I also noticed that in fm 24 and the second half of fm 23, tactics no longer worked perfectly, especially in online matches. For example, 4-2-3-1 is very difficult to win in online matches against real opponents.

What tactics do you think are strong but underrated in FM arena, special for playing online?

In our online save at FM24, a guy playing Southampton with 4-2-3-1 hegemony won the league easily (2nd place was for another one using 4231hegemony with Leicester). Also another guy won Serie A as Genoa 3rd season with 424Deformation. So I think a lot of tactics from Hall of Fame works good at online games ^^
Yes, I just said mine was the better for fmarena because is at the top, not for promoting myself hehe.

I agree with you, but that's the first tactic I had with this problem, been using top tactics of fmarena for 2 years and always overperform, that's why I am worried.

Since I didn't studied this ME a lot i'm just reading people like you and others from this forum so I can learn more and more hehe ^^

In addition, can you answer me which tactic would you choose for a regular season between every box levante tweak, including box levante? Furthermore, I would apreciate if you also tell me which tactic of all the fmarena table would you choose (regardless the players).
After all the tweaks you have done, which 'box levante' between mines and yours do you think is the best for playing FM? (since we alrdy know that the best for fmarena is 'box levante' ).

As I said before on my post, I'm really struggling with 'Box Levante', despite having good team, I'm winning but every game with close results like 0-1 2-1 3-2.

Last tactic I used was "Grand Vol" and with worse players I was smashing almost every team. Ty for answer ;)
Worley15 said: Excellent tactic - Really good to watch on the highlights. Creates a number of different patterns of play as well as some goal of the season contenders.

I'm playing as Newcastle in my save, only loss so far (October) was a defeat to Man City away after having Schar sent off after 25 mins. Some very big results.

I've created a mirror tactic, and will switch in games or alternate. Find that with Assymetrical tactics such as this, it means that when the AI suss out your plans, it throws them a curve ball and creates space and chances.

Well done to the tactic creator :-)

Thank you a lot for your feedback. If you want you can share your results here :)

Sorry for maybe the question is silly, but I play on Xbox and what instructions do you use in IF?

I just use 'Tackle harder'. But if you want you can try 'Sit narrower' I dont think this will be game changing.
OneEye said: The first time I tried it, it didn’t seem that good, but I noticed lots of back post crosses, so tried it again with a striker who had good jumping and pace, and it’s probably the best tactic I have tried so far. I do have a very strong team for this league though. Signed the AMC on loan in January and he has been amazing. Out of all the tactics I have tried so far, I would say this one just tops Red General.

Thank you for your feedback and answers my friend, this will help me a lot ;)
OneEye said: Mine scores a good amount. Currently my AF has 43 in 36 and my CF has 22 in 32. Ive noticed many of the goals come from high crosses despite the low crossing TI. My AF has 16 jumping, so probably why he takes most of the goals. When my CF isn’t scoring though, he really isn’t doing much else other than helping with the overload down the right and creating soace for my third highest scorer, my right inside forward.

How is this tactic working for you? For me is being pretty worse than "Grand vol" or "New age v4"
Same as 4213 retrogradation IU but changed CF to AF and mentality to Balanced.
Same as Kamikaze Levante but put both midfielders at volante-sup role.
Same as "Kamikaze Levante Attacking" but changed the cm-at to cm-sup and results were way better at goals conceded.
Same as "Kamikaze Levante Attacking" but changed one DM to BWM-de
Same as Kamikaze Levante but changed mentality to "Attacking"
Same as Kamikaze Levante but changed mentality to 'Positive'
Trying the 3 af's

put cautious mentality
Trying double AF with SS in Box levante, changed CF to AF and AM to SS.
Let's see the 4k tests
