Let's wait a bit—I think a new top score will emerge soon. Reflecting on my own tests, I believe PI really isn't that important. The noticeable score differences in the ARENA tests can be attributed to several factors. First, the results from 1,350 matches still carry considerable randomness. Second, different duty combinations in tactics do have their own optimal PI setups, but these only become apparent in long-term holiday simulations—in actual matches, the difference is barely noticeable. Third, the AI teams' tactical choices during testing have a huge impact, which explains why many people's results contradict ARENA's—I'm one of them. Fourth, variations in player attribute settings across test files lead to different player templates, which significantly affect tactical performance.
As for using positive mentality, Feiwuxiaomei previously told me about it. He achieved a top score of 82 with strikers in a 3-4-2-1 formation. In my own tests, I found that positive mentality can indeed improve results in certain duty combinations. The PI settings for the 3 AMs in this tactic follow the most popular choices from the top-scoring submissions. Personally, I believe the 3 AM setup works better as is, especially without additional PIs. However, in the limited tests with positive mentality, the current PI settings do seem to perform better.
I think I should stick to my own convictions and tests when uploading tactics to ARENA, even if they don't always achieve high scores.
CHF:make more runs. IF:sit narrower, cut inside with ball, byline. BBM:move into channels, make more runs. WB:sit narrower, cut inside with ball, byline.
