The use of PFS in the 4231 formation, which also uses a left-right asymmetric setup, had a very good result in the Manchester City holiday test. The league achieved 35 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss, conceding only 16 goals. All the cup games were won.
The 424 formation is more suitable for this configuration, but the stance of 442 is not much worse, and let's see how it turns out.
Change:
CFS→PFS
BWMD→RGA

Strengthen the attacking and playing ability on the right, although with a weakened defense.
Can PFS really replace AF?
Gianaa9 said: Do you think PF(Su) is useful only in 2 striker shapes or also as a single striker?

I think the effect as a single striker should be better, of course, it is a supporting intelligence, can not be simply interchangeable with AF.
Try using a combination of PFS+RGA.
Today, Master Zhou Zhou told me that the best striker duties are CFA and PFS. I used PFS in 424 tactics and made a simple modification to see how the effect is.
Let the attack be free.
The 3ST formation always seems to be a bit better.
Try a combination of LS+IFBD.
The combination of WS+IWBS+VOLA tries in this 3ST formation.
Common configuration of FM23.

It doesn't actually make much difference which team you test with, because different teams have different criteria for results, and the advantage of choosing Manchester City is that the results will be a bit more consistent.

I don't know if the game engine has changed, but recently I think the setting of balanced mindset combined with underlaps is better than others.
remove underlaps.
Mixing and matching of different responsibilities, the use of WS+IWBS combinations.
Take a look at how balance +Underlaps performs in this formation.
Change: DMS→VOLA
double attack.
A mixture of asymmetrical responsibilities.
