Tried to build a newish system just to mess around with the game before I start my own save. Managed to get 83 points with Forest using this system which is based on the 4-4-2 diamond/4-3-3 which Ancelotti has used at Madrid, the one where he virtually had Di Maria as a segundo volante.
Anyway, feel free to download and see if you like it.
Done around 40 tests of this now with an average of 4th place and 74 points. Just achieved my best ever result of 88 points and it would the league title with the original Forest team and no signings.

Hopefully this can get tested and we can see where we are.
Slightly changed the approach of my system to attacking as I read it was better in FM24 than last year.
Finished 3rd with Forest, but only got 74 points. However, did win the EFL Cup smashing United and City en-route. Awoniyi scored 28 league goals and 42 in all comps, so I think there is a basis to move forward from here.
Just looking to see if I can have this system tested on FM24 after the success I had with it in las year's game.
I've done a couple of run throughs myself with Forest and finished fourth both times with 76 points and 75 points respectively. Looking to use this as a base to build an updated version for this year, but need to see it tested on here to compare with the META systems. Thank you.
Just some minor changes here to bring the best out of the AMC/SS. Asked to take more risks with his passing and I think if I recall correctly I told the AF to take more risks also.
Looking to try and make a tactic which replicates the 2007 system used by Luciano Spalletti, guiding Roma to second place.
Tried to give the advanced forward some false nine traits, albeit not exactly right for Totti, the AM holds the ball up and shoots more like Vucinic did, almost like a second striker.
Back four isn't expansive, it's solid and they don't really want to get too far forward.
Added take fewer risks to the advanced forward and it seems like it frees them up to score more and thus improves the balance of the team. Definitely reduces the goal output of the AMR, but it does more accurately reflect the dynamic of Hulk and Falcao.
I changed some of the roles around here to try and improve the defensive solidity. Make the DM a (D) and the gk (S). Also put hold position on the DM D
Changed the team settings to have a much higher defensive line for this and added the shoot more often PI to the advanced forward. I think the last thing was more cosmetic as DCL didn't score too many.
Anyway, feel free to download and see if you like it.

Yes it took me ages to finally find a good combination, even if I did have to drop one of the midfielders into a deeper role to satisfy the ME

That's true, although Mancini and Taddei got really wide at times, at least in Europe. I'm unsure how to best replicate that

But of an update but Delicious did an in-depth video on this tactic and ran it through his spaghetti league testing system. Take a look
