ykykyky

170.38 R Lee
169.66 C Geiles
158.11 S Yildirim
151.11 E Manfredini

MDW22

172.24 R Lee
165.12 C Geiles
157.36 S Yildirim
149.12 E Manfredini

Clearly ratings don't always mean a better scorer, but they should be able to get into position to score and therefore longer term be better strikers.

This is interesting because I'm also using the ykykyky numbers on genie scout but don't quite know where you're getting the .38 and .11 from on Lee and Yildirim. Is that a different calculation?
Have been using the information on this website to try and get players to outperform what you would expect from the ME using weighted attributes, however I've never quite been able to get it right with my strikers.

I've finally got a selection I like, and I'd like to share my formation with you all and ask which striker do you think will score most in the system?

Thanks everyone!

haha! but I meant in open play.
Does anyone know how to find a striker that will definitely score goals? Managing in the PL is made annoying this year simply by the presence of Haaland. Roko Simic and Nketiah are decent but don't score enough. I've been exclusively recruiting in accordance with ykykyk balanced and all Mark's work, but is there anything I should be looking for in my striker. Traits, specific attributes as well as the ones in the table? Who are you guys using?
Is there a way perhaps to try and moneyball this mother? So if we work on the basis of the table and maybe figure out a base of attributes that aren't important per position. So for example let's say a 50 rating of importance/weight per the YKYKYKY balanced genie scout ratings. If we give those attributes of 50 an in game value of say 10? This is based on managing in the Premier League. Could we then somehow get the evaluation of a player down to one single number through an equation. Going from attributes that are weighted 50 right through to 100+. Do you guys think this is possible? I read in another thread Mark had come up with RCAT or something?

Look at this - https://fm-arena.com/thread/3293-what-it-takes-to-dominate-epl-with-bournemouth/

I think it tells everything about the attributes in FM23 :D

If you want to take a more broader look at the attributes then check this - https://fm-arena.com/table/18-attribute-testing/

This is actually really useful, thank you so much. I do still wonder if the bournemouth test attributes match up with genie scout, I'd be intrigued as to the important ones for each position
Hello all,

I know this question will probably be met with a chorus of 'go look through the thread' but honestly I have and the mountain of information is a little confusing. Anyway, I'm currently playing through my first FM23 save and been reading this thread to try and find players who are maximum value for the match engine. I've downloaded the ykykyk balanced thing for genie scout and I'm using the table of important attributes to search for players, however having great attributes in the heaviest weight doesn't always seem to match up with the genie scout rating of the player. Am i missing something, are there calculations I need to do? Any help with this would be much appreciated, I'm just heading into the 2023 summer window after somehow finishing sixth with Southampton. I need to start counting cards at the table because my best players will be poached and I don't have massive money to spend on the best individuals. Thank you
