fmheritage said: Thanks — and that's the idea. The data side doesn't care which FM it is, so when FM27 lands the cards get rebuilt in its instructions rather than started over. Benfica is still next on my list. Expand
I still cant see Farioli in the platform however if we could also add Cesc Fabregas blueprint would be awesome. He is doing a great job at Como.
Worth saying what came with it: the Süper Lig and the Brasileirão are both properly in now, not one-off entries. That's why Jorge Jesus ended up with two cards instead of one — the 2019 Flamengo double, and Fenerbahçe 22-23, runners-up with the highest-scoring side in the division. Same manager, two very different squads, which is the comparison I get the most out of. Benfica is still on the list.
Farioli's in — Ajax 24-25 first, and his Nice 23-24 alongside it so there's a before/after on the same idea. The Eredivisie and the Primeira Liga get their own sections at the same time, so Ajax, Benfica, Porto and Sporting stop sitting under "Other". Expand
Another interessting idea to add would be Francesco Farioli.
fmheritage said: Sorry about that — Jorge Jesus is added on my end but hasn't gone live on the page yet, should be up within a day or two. I'll reply here once it's live. Expand
Thanks a lot for the updates. It serves as a great baseline for creating recreations and not following meta tactics.
I stil cant see Jorge Jesus in but not sure if something needs to be updated on my side.
fmheritage said: Jorge Jesus is in — I'll do both the Flamengo and Benfica runs, they're different enough in press intensity to be worth two separate cards. Mentality's already queued (told gagi1993 the same above), so that'll cover your question too once it lands. Expand
fmheritage said: Yes — this isn't a closed list. Turkish league data just got added as a first expansion. Any league with public match data works, so send me the managers/clubs/seasons you want and I'll add them. Expand
Jorge Jesus would be interesting either his times in Flamengo or Benfica. Also would it be possible to have recommended Mentality for each tactical system?
Thank you for the insightful post and the effort you've put into explaining the dynamics of FM-Arena tactic testing. It's indeed crucial to understand how these results translate into the diverse environments of regular saves as this question is so often raised between the community.
Your demonstration with both tactics is quite revealing. The influence of human-controlled team performance on tactic effectiveness is a key factor that many might overlook. Buffing or nerfing these teams significantly alters the perception of a tactic's quality.
The demonstration prompts an important question: should we focus on testing tactics with mid-table teams in the Premier League (or any league) rather than the extremes of strong and weak teams?
Opting for a mid-table team in the Premier League for example could provide a more realistic challenge and better perception to a tactic more optimal quality. Since mid-table teams often face a mix of strong and weak opponents it could present a balanced test for tactics.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this perspective!
SCF said: Thanks for your answer I personally play with the In-Game Editor disabled, because I like to just play without the information the editor provides, especially the hidden attributes. Nonetheless I like to get the best out of the game and only use the information my scouts provide. I do think you can take much from their reports, although they are not 100% correct. Expand
I believe that the rating provided is against your own team CA and PA plus on how good your scouts are at evaluating that information.

Only tweak is change of mentality to Attacking instead of Positive
Role Changes:
AM (A) - SS (with roam from position)
CF (S) - PF (S) with roam from position and move into channels
Also removed hold up ball from the IF on Attack.
