Geraldes said: Hello, I saw that you mentioned using strikers in the AM position. However, a player like Rodrigo Mora from FC Porto (AMC Wonderkid) would play great there as well? I'm torn between using great AMC gems in the AMC position or going just pure Strikers there.
If it's the last option I'll have no space for pure AMC's and will have to push them into AML or AMR. Expand
Go with whatever you feel will work. In my FC Bayern save, I played Harry Kane there, 1st season he scored 26 goals in 31 Bundesliga games, 2nd season he scored 32 goals in 33 Bundesliga games, overall that 2nd season he scored 48 goals in 51 games. I sold to Barcelona and put Musiala there, he scored 46 goals in 51 games in all comps so just as well. Mora is a very good player, just try and find someone with speed and off the ball. The trait breaks offside trap works nicely too
Ajax said: Hi. I feel like tactics without a striker aren't working as well anymore. I'm playing as Man Utd, and I conceded three goals and lost to Everton. This isn't a criticism, just an observation. Expand
You'd be correct in your observations, in one of the recent updates, SI "nerfed" strikerless systems somewhat by refining how centre-backs and midfielders handle marking duties when no traditional striker is present. The AI now correctly tracks deep runners like SS instead of becoming "lost," effectively closing the gap that previously allowed these tactics to exploit the ME. Strikerless is still the way to go though, unfortunately you are going to lose games.
