There is never end to experiment. You can do that and check if things going wrong or not :P! DM(D) that i use instead of anchor because somehow perfomance drops otherwise, it's basically a meatshield to don't get too many goals,so you need it for defend duties

Removed Overlap; seem many people don't follow or just trying to being "blindfool",i've tried time ago to running tactics w/o overlap, it's not like overlap is a must; w/o it basically you adding tempo to your attacking manoeuvre due to the mechanic it self, so basically your players will not run wild in order to try to score goals, but like on everything there are Pro and Cons, since basically you might get more counter-attacks you might lose more games, but you will be more fluid on your attacking process as well. Basically it's really up to you, all this system-template and "rulesLess-pi" is based that you can adapt on everything you want and need.

It's like @Steelwoodsaid, it's like you adding tempo and penetration, we have to understand that those tactics are runned on a certain league,overlaps helps the team to penetrate very defensive team,like in game if you are "City" maybe expect for some singularities, IA is going to play defensive against you. On the test is different, every manager is setuped with the same tendecies and they never close up, so we can't really say if is overlap being "useless" or "just giving a bit of tempo",in order to proper test it, the option should been tested in order to face only "defensive approaches" teams with it off and on, that's a limit of the "test", but we can't really have everything. Maybe that's why it gave that result on from the test,but really setuping "leagues" to check out an option is a bit "funny".
For me is adding 0.5 point to the bracket,that's why in order to come closer to the truth we should know how much the rng hitted both of tactics or just by checking the save. Getting more goals is the equivalent to risk to lose more games and since those rng wave strike alot we can't be 100% sure.
One with overlap did scored more and took more goals
+3 on each part,means with overlap you are actually risking more in order to score,it's like adding penetration.. You can play without it but if your ultimate goal is too juice more out the tactic pontential you go for that,but we should ask @Zippo how much the rng hitted both of tactics in order to understand or a save to check them out.

Do you see? It was easy to understand that you could put focus on center! I guess it's like instead of "focus", i am testing it on narrow tactics and it really make the difference. Did you tried AM(A) as well?
