Rollerbob said: So, this tactic is nuts... But I am Curzon Ashton, in the Vanarama North.
It scores so many goals, but lets in so many too. Most games we've played using this tactic finish with 4+ goals. It's crazy to watch, kinda fun, but kinda intense too.
I'm sure it's a quality tactic with better sides, my team is absolutely shocking tbf, so trying to get my CB's to actually do as the tactic tells them is probably too much of an ask.. Expand
Like Milakus said, I used an earlier version of that to bring my team from Vanarama North (or South, don't remember) to Premier League. It is a breeze until Championship, when you face teams that came down from Premier (difference in money is absurd).
Augustin said: This might be a stupid question, but on the new 3.3 version with improved set pieces; do you assign a position to take corners or is this supposed to be left unassigned? Expand
As long as you don't assign the BPDs to take corners, it will be fine. Leave it to your best takers.
Falbravv said: Zaz, i've a problem I'm using asymetric tweak, because when i switch to 3.2 or today 3.3, i find my team really less efficient. No goals, hard to win... You tlak a lot about set pieces improvement, the fact is, my players are generally worse for throws, corner etc... is it an answer of bad form when using 3.3, which is logically better than asymetric tweak ?
Tx a lot for the work, and for the answer Expand
It's probably just a coincidence and you would get those results even if you didn't change tactic. Sometimes the bad form comes right after some change and you think the change caused it, but it really doesn't make much sense since the changes are for the best.
It's such a relief that the set pieces improved goal difference, I was afraid it would make no difference and I would have lost weeks of work for nothing. Anyway, that was the last change scheduled, so I kinda run out of ideas for now. Thanks everyone for helping me with valuable input and testing!
Nebuuuu said: Yo, hey ZaZ. After a long, too long, time i finally can play the FM22 again. And thanksto your tactics, community-work, i`ve tested the 3.2 Version for my fav. football club Hertha BSC. At the pre-season, everything seems fine and out of the sudden 2-3 mainplayers injured. Also the Team-Constellation isn`t that good (RM, LM, ST), we had a kinda bad start. 2 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw. Then i invested a little more time into my team and switched to your 3.3 Version.
After this, atm, i`m 12 matches undefeated and could`ve won 2 matches more, unlucky...no goals (classic FM sometimes, also need a 2nd better Striker). 9 wins since then and 3 draws, which is awesome. Sure only 12 League-Matches played and still alot to improve for my squad (wintertransfers..hopefully..if cash comes in) but overall a great tactic AGAIN. My only critic is maybe to stabilize the defense but yeah...i think my team is the mainproblem here.
So here, just 2 screenshots and i will show more after the season. Greetings and stay safe everyone, thx ZaZ bro.

Thanks for testing! My focus now is to get a more defensive tactic, since Blue AW can be used as a more offensive tactic. We already have some very good options for that in the top of the table, but I want to try my luck as well. Have fun in your run and good luck!
Just in case anyone is curious, I decided to show the FM Genie Scout of my team, to reveal their current ability. Ratings are default. To be clear, the program wasn't used during the run and won't be used for new signings, but since it's now revealed, I might use that information to decide who would leave the team for Premier League.
If you want to use 3 sets of tactics, main one will be ZaZ Blue 3.2, which other 2 you will use? Maybe ZaZ Blue 3.2 AW as an more attacking one, and which one to be a more defensive? Maybe switching one AF to DM position? Have you tested anything like that? Expand
I'm now testing some variants with better defense. The version with 2 RPM is doing well, but hard to say anything before further tests.
Wardie37 said: Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your time and hard work I'm creating these tactics and the detail you put in to them. I'm currently doing a pentagon challenge and trying to end TNS dominance of the Welsh league with Cefn Druids. Being a semi-pro team would you make any changes to their training? Or just go with your schedules on they days they do train? 3.2 has made me very competitive just wanting to see if I can get anymore out of my mediocre squad and shoe-string budget!! Expand
With semi-professional teams, trying to develop players is a loss of time. Your coaches are bad, as well as your training facilities and players. It's usually better to just renew the team completely once you get promoted, since you can usually get better players for free. That being said, I advice you to use your 4 training sessions for next match bonuses, like Defensive Positions, Attacking Movements and Teamwork, as well as a Match Practice for cohesion and happiness.

Total Goals = 200
Goals From Corners = 50

And in other test you got these:

Goals From Corners = 40
Total Corners Taken = 50 ( but you don't know this stat )
So without knowing Total Corners Taken the results might be very misleading because without knowing Total Corners Taken the result of the 1st test looks better than the result of the 2nd test.
But if you know Total Corners Taken:
The 1st test: Goals From Corners / Total Corners Taken = 0.5 Goals per one corner
The 2nd test: Goals From Corners / Total Corners Taken = 0.8 Goals per one corner Expand
My tests are for eight teams, three runs for each. That gives a total of 24 seasons of 38-46 matches each (1008 matches). When some result shows promise, I do six runs for each team (2016 matches). It might not be perfect, but I can only hope it's enough to allow me to ignore some of those random factors.
Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to get a statistic like "corner conversion rate", unless I do it manually watching all matches.
Have you ever tried to create a 4231 formation?
Yes, but it isn't as effective as this one.
Thanks for testing, it looks great!
So you'd do the same (using 3.0 instead of 3.3) if you were to start again today? Is 3.0 more solid at the back then?
I used 3.0 because 3.3 didn't exist yet at the time. Blue 3.3 is better all around.
It scores so many goals, but lets in so many too. Most games we've played using this tactic finish with 4+ goals. It's crazy to watch, kinda fun, but kinda intense too.

Thanks for testing! Go, Young Boys!
The 21.3 last year was released in the last day of February or first day of March, something like that.
No idea. Last year, it took around two weeks between each patch, but this year it's way slower.
Yes, it's in "changelog".

Anything you can do to improve goal return or rating of SS? I really struggle with that position...
They usually score a lot, it might be that your player is more of a team player and passes more than shoots.
It's in changelog section. Improved set pieces after weeks of tests.

When u add ZaZ Blue 3.3 AW ?
Tks for all
After they test Blue 3.3, if results are superior.
P.S.: Blue AW added to first post.
Replacing SS for RPM, but keep in mind it's probably worse in points per match.
