@Zippo Again, thank you very much for the work you've been (and still are) putting into this community. We appreciate a lot.

Have you consider some sort of donation page so we can buy you a coffee?

it is going to start whenever Zippo has everything settled
Zippo said: Hi friends,

I just want to inform you that we need 2-3 days more to iron things out and start testing tactics for FM26.

Bugs in the pre-game editor and in the game itself were slowing us down because we had to combat them and fining workarounds for it.

For example, a feature to duplicate players, staff and other things in the pre-game editor is bugged for FM26 and finding a workaround for it caused a lot of headaches for us.

Also, there're bizarre things such as inability to load a tactic if you renamed the tactic file and the file name becomes different from the tactic name, which were used to save the tactic. Probably, many of you already have encountered this issue when tried to import a tactic and got an error in-game massage "This file can't be loaded".

Another thing, if you have multiple human managers in a game save and one of them "went on holidays" then other active managers can't save the game and can't use the in-game editor, to do that they have to wait until the manager "on holidays" is back from the holidays.

I don't even want to mention that there're cases when the game UI becomes unresponsive and everything just freezes.

Anyway, as I said all the obstacles were overcome and we just need 2-3 days to iron things out and starts testing!

all good! the work you are putting through this basically for free is enough for us to wait another month if it needs to be :)
ahm.. is that FM11?
Zippo said: Yes, that's correct.

Unfortunately, we can give ETA when it's done but I can say that we're working on it and making a progress.

At the moment two the most difficult tasks are solved: extracting the league score and tactic from the game.

Of course, there're still other task left but they are less complicated.

Btw, this year we're gonna provide not only Overall League Table score but also separately Home and Away matches scores.

Awesome! keep the good work coming :)
can you post the end of season results table? we want to see how many goals scored, points, goals against, etc..
OMG! I cant bother with that... Do you guys know if SI is planning to fix this in the near future?
Gracolas said: Are you able to import training schedules into the game? I mean, i'm able to create my own schedule but then i cant simply apply these schedules to every week.. the game just doesnt recognize my schedules

Anyhow, does anyone know how to import the schedules? I have made a training schedule based on the screenshots in this thread but then i cant load it to every week
Bill W said: Bro, you're over here hijacking a thread discussing "recent findings for optimal play in FM24 & FM26"... you know, the title of the thread... with your random ass complaints. If you wanna btich and moan, that's fine, go create your own thread that says "this game sucks I'm mad, come listen to me rant" instead of inturrupting our convo. In fact, the time you're over here wasting typing out a bunch of shit that A. We already know and probably better than you, and B. We don't care and still play anyway... You could playing some other game that doesn't cause you to crash out in the middle of adult conversations.

We get it, you mad.
Now, try to get us, we don't care.
Stop interrupting threads and go do something else with your time. It's more beneficial to your mental health.

My problem with him is that he's trying to change our minds to something that we actually agree with him.
It's exactly what you said: we dont care if the game is broken right at the start. we still want to play it until we get enough of it.
Bill W said: This is kinda what I think I came up with...? (Assuming matches are on Saturdays)

Look about right to everyone?

Are you able to import training schedules into the game? I mean, i'm able to create my own schedule but then i cant simply apply these schedules to every week.. the game just doesnt recognize my schedules
Xeno94 said: I would if I had a time machine, but we both know that's not an option in 2025.

The point is that you can't just forget the info on meta stats once you've seen them (unless you have dementia)

indeed, but with a new game you had a choice to either continue to look for meta or not.. i agree you cant erase what you learned from fm24, but you could decide to not look up for more info for fm26, yet here you are
what about posting some screenshots? like how you end up in the league, goals scored, etc?
What tactic are you guys using right now for FM26?
you guys could simply not open fm-arena (or this topic really) if you didnt want to be spoiled.. however you are just like us that want to understand what is the best meta to play and here you are. Now dont complain. The beauty of FM is there's no wrong way to play it, so you choose if you want to learn all the nerdy meta data or not.
yep, download link is broken. can anyone upload the Bafini's genie ratings file?
Steelwood said: I don't think "GeorgeFloydOverdosed" is a particularly acceptable name for a Football Manager forum, do you?

I agree with you, but i kinda liked his post, tbh
@harvestgreen22 how would you setup the genie scout weights? have you worked on that and if so, can you share with us?
White Europe said: CM 01/02 was last... and im still playing it too

yep, from time to time i also play cm 01/02
FREVKY said: Yeah, but that's based purely on ingame attributes. Game engine kind of penalize you for selecting players out of their natural / trained positions and I didn't implement that in my spreadsheet obviously as it's not confirmed how big out of position penalty is.

Thats confirmed already.. Zippo already made that test and, naturally, the natural position is the best one and i remember there was a gap to the other position conditions

When you start a save, whats the database setup you use?

I'm using one from the youtuber/streamer "Second yellow card", which loads around 140k players but im curious to know if this is what you guys use and if its the best setup to journeyman saves (which are my favorites):
