what about work the ball into the box? you think it would reduce the amount of unnecessary shots?

Question is on the subject: on those dificult games that your team is on the upper side, smashing the opponent but cant score a goal, what instructions do you change to force that goal?

I'm playing with a 6-tier portuguese team, managed to got promoted twice (4th tier now) and although my team is better than the rest of the teams and im using the top tactic of this forum, im not able to win games even thou statistically im winning everything (shots on target, xG, possession, etc..).

I know that a lot of you will say: "Buy better players", but im on a tight budget and accordingly to Genie Scout with the latest modified ratings, i already have a higher average rating than any other team in my division
dude, you can literally go to the best tactics in the tables section and choose whatever formation you like the best

I might be wrong here, but i think i read it once in this forum that tests were conducted and opposition instructions dont do anything. It's all about the tactic

Obviously im not the expert here, im sure plenty of guys will come up with a right answer, but as far as my experience goes, the AI wants to buy players with great reputation, which comes from form/exhibitions, therefore it doesnt matter their attributes.
is this your first transfer window? if so, when you created the save, did you enable transfers on first window?
Since the meta attributes is pretty much the same as in last FM, i think ykykyk works just fine in this new FM, no need to use any other GS ratings so far.
@Blau is spitting facts!! This is easy: In the end of the day this is a game that will always have meta gameplay and/or glitches/bugs.

If we are constantly looking up on the internet for FM Arena and forums like that what attributes matter the most, and what tactics are broken, etc etc etc, then obviously we will crack the game in no time and the excitement of the game will die fast.
it might be just coincidence, but my first game ever in europa league against Dinamo Tiblisi with Ostersunds FK (Sweden 2nd league team) with 11 players fresh in fatigue and i'm winning 7-0 (finished the game 8-0)..

I think you really have a point here with the fatigue topic @ZaZ

Personally, i dont think that makes much difference.. i regularly load GS after a couple of in-game days, so ratings dont change that much.

Ok, makes sense.. I dont mess up with the ykykykyk ratings, so i just leave them unchanged. In this case i find GS really smooth and quick.
