Gracolas
Can you do Ruben Amorim (from Sporting CP)?
what do you mean by "with backup"?
Zippo said: @Gracolas no doubts, that "Match Sharpness" deserves to be tested and it's really a shame that we haven't tested it this year but unfortunately, at this point it's too late for testing it because all other attributes were tested under an outdated M.E. and our old testing database but at this point we can only test under the latest M.E and our new testing database so the results would not make sense compared to the previous result. Of course, we could retest all attributes under the current environment but we I don't think it's worth the efforts at this point. :)

gotcha! Maybe take this note in consideration when the new FM kicks in then ;)
Hey @Zippo , i wonder if you can add Match Sharpness in this test or conduct a new one, please?

I know for sure that lower match sharpness affects players performance, just not sure by how much and how much relevant it is
You should read this topic: https://fm-arena.com/thread/3293-what-it-takes-to-dominate-epl-with-bournemouth/
Most of the times its not the tactic fault, but instead the players you have.. you can choose the top tactic in the test table and if you dont have the right players (mostly pacey ones), you'll not get results.

Also 2 topics worth mentioning/read: https://fm-arena.com/thread/2980-game-changing-player-attributes/

There are a few things you can do to help your domestic rivals on that journey: loan and sell players only to domestic clubs, bring good assistant managers and coaches to your team and let them go be head coaches of your domestic rivals as well, you can also coach your team for x years and them change to another domestic club..

It can be a really long journey depending on the country you pick, tho
Can you kindly share the link for both ZaZ and Cadoni training methods?
curious to see the testing result
And also, what would be the best tactical changes to do in case we need desperately one goal?
What tactical changes can/should we do for those dificult games where we are leading by 1 goal and we need to close the door for the last minutes?

I'm playing with 'Pressure cooker' and 'Blau Diamond Tweak' and most of times the changes that i do is: increase time wasting and drop the line of engagement to low block
more like 2/20 facilities ahahha
ZaZ said: It does not matter much. Most players in lower leagues have too low PA, and once you get promoted, it is often better to hire a complete new team of free player since better players will accept to play for you.

Got it, but is there anything i can do to avoid injuries and/or fatigue? So far i dont have any issues with it, but thinking more in advance
Year 1 | Half season update
I would say im a little disappointed with the overall performance of the team.. We had a bad streak of 4 losses which impacted a lot the motivation of the team and the standings as well. Board and fans are happy (they were expecting to be last place) so I guess i'm safe for now.

Transfers
The squad was lacking some positions and some quality as well (it is what we expect when we pick the worst reputation club, ofc), so I went to the market and bought/loaned in some players:

Accordingly to the fans/board, these were the best transfers:

Personally, im really enjoying Patrício Sanha (not only he's Portuguese but also scores and assists a lot).

Squad
This is the first eleven (and some stats):

League Standings

4th place is nothing we should be ashamed of, but i guess i put my expectations too high. I want at least reach the playoffs in the end of the season. Lets see.

Please let me know if you have any advice
What would be a good training schedule for non-professional clubs?

Im running this, but not sure if its the most effective:

deegenom said: Out of curiosity, can someone tell me why is every season worse and worse % of wins from best tactics? I mean, are we in general doing something wrong and going in wrong direction? In the past, we had way higher percentage of win ratio and points in general.

check this section of the forum.. every year @Zippo creates new complex but more reliable methods to try to remove the RNG as best as he can.

So in theory, the harder tests are, the worst scores we get.
Hi all,

So I was getting kinda bored on FM23 and decided to take a new challenge and try to engage with all of you so it doesnt get boring.

The challenge
The idea is to pick up the worst reputable team in the game database and try to improve the best i can in 10 years range. Here are some rules/preferences:

Spoiler - Dont leave the club in the first 10 years
- Sign youth players
- Improve the youth academy and other facilities
- Have at least 2 Portuguese players in the first squad (im Portuguese, so..)
- Only sign Portuguese fluent speakers to staff (can be any nationality tho)
- I'll be using Genie Scout with the ykykyk ratings tweaked by me with increased Acc + Pace weights (yes i know, a lot of people call this cheating, but i dont care. Save is mine, i do what i want)
- Tactics will be hall of fame ones from FM-Arena (will decide accordingly to the squad strengths and results im having

The club

Sund Idrottsförening were formed on 9 September 1921. Eight years later Sund IF and Skönviks IF merged and took the "neutral" name Sköns IF. For many years the club was called anything but Sund IF, but on 23 January 1965, it became Sund IF again and that's the name that still applies today. The club has over the years not only been involved with football and has had sections covering skiing and orienteering.

Since their foundation Sund IF has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system. The club currently plays in Division 4 Medelpad which is the sixth tier of Swedish football. They play their home matches at the Malands IP in Sundsbruk.

Currently this is where my home will be:

Hopefully I'll be able to move to a new stadium, if we do things right ;)

If you have any question/advise to give, please feel free to do so.
I would say its definitely something really rare to see all these draws, but have to agree with @Lapidus, you can only take any assumption with a huge test (5 to 10 seasons in each patch version and under same circunstances like freeze morale, condition, etc..)
Hi, im curious if you have techniques to better negotiate the players prices with clubs and the salary with the players.

I know one that lowers the player salary demands: add an 0€ release clause on relegation
Mlacks said: Ok, thanks. This New testing league gives a better representation of the best tactics?

against elite AI managers, yes. We suppose that if we are beating elite AI managers then the other managers will also get beaten.
Has @Lapidus mentioned its all about attributes. Forget about tweaking/changing your tactics. As long as you pick an high rated tactics from the test table, you should be fine.

Buy some 17/18+ pace players and you should be fine.
