Using python and my own ratings based on the tests on here, recruitment has been great. I've only just got my own scouts as before no one with decent attributes would join.

Its still very good for me, Truro first season in the EPL. We are 4th in the January Window, spent £17m in total. Half my starting eleven are free transfers.

I am pretty sure it has been tested with players who are the minimum height but have 1-3 attribute points higher than their max height opponents and they win the majority of headers? This was for 23 but id be surprised if they have "fixed" this for 24

I would always take the pace yes. I am using squirrels python with my own weighting for attrinbutes as I think he still gives too much to technicals which are really not that important - even marking for defenders. My results are fantastic. For a centre back I would want pace, acceleration and jumping reach as the top attributes and then balance, anticipation and concentration. And finally stamina, strength and aggression. I dont look for tackling or marking. And I would even put in dribbling for the third set of most important.

You may have missed the point? What is their jumping reach? I also play lower leagues - FM23 was Ringmer and 24 I am Truro. Quansah is nowhere near as good in the air as centre backs shorter than him by a few inches.

I think you mean jumping reach? Quansah is 6'6 or 6'7 with only 14/15 jumping reach but my shorter defender with higher jumping reach are better.

Jumping reach is set to 0 for many positions and only 65 for TM? This is all too low and a big mistake.

Haaland is the best FS and the best TM. I agree TM is better in FM because of how powerful jumping reach is. Actually his dribbling is probably a little low to be the best FS? Im not sure.

I dont care about the pressing discussion but the game is a joke. They still haven't fixed the Spanish salary cap lol. Its a major league, hardly Djibouti is it
My first observation is that Haaland isn't rated as the best striker?? He's one of the best FM players ever, let alone in this version.

Why have you rated jumping reach so poorly?????? It needs to be high for almost every outfield position and max for centre backs.
Forgot to check this today. Have been using my own ratings for squirrel python code and have found it to be excellent. I think it's far superior to using GS with yk but will check it against yours tomorrow

Its easy enough. Take the ones he has done on his website and add them to python.

Then for EVERY(not gk) position put pace and acceleration in the top ones which are *5.

Now for central players I also put jumping reach here and for wide players and srikers I add dribbling.

For the next set of most important attributes from the testing here I make sure from Strength and Stamina up they are all in the second group *3 and some like concentration for cb's and agility for wingers will go up to the top line as well. I also put finishing for stikers here, work rate for full backs and dm's. Maybe aggression for cb's

Then the third group *1 is for the others you want.

Then at the end there is a sum which is 1/48 for example. you simply add up each group and then put that number there. So if you have four 5* thats 20, five 3* is 15 and 5 1* is 5.

Im using squirrel python with your top tactic managing Truro and I gave only signed frees and got 2-3 loans a season and we won league 1 with 112 points. I have changed what he sets the code to look for based upon what I thought was better, got rid of the useless attributes and boosted jumping reach, and updated again from these tests. The other promotions were easy as well. Think the tactic and the method of finding players is too good combined.

Following the attributes highlighted in game is an awful choice. Only do this if you're playing for realism. And one extra on pace and acceleration makes you a huge difference. The difference between 11 and 14 is huge
