Wide flank play 433 with current meta IWB and DW + IFs on DM I decided to stay with anchor mainly cuz I like what I see from Caicedo in that role in my Brighton save

just make a copy of a tactic you like with turned off counter-press, counters, get stuck in, lower trigger press and tempo up to half that will leave you with around 3/4 intensity which can save some energy while not becoming really weak in more extreme way you can go even with regroup, hold shape and time wasting, but I just don't like these options
idek0k said: How to deal with the tactic sucking all of my player's energy? Expand
happens with literally every gegenpress tactic after patch, just have a Plan B to save energy when there's no need to run and score goals anymore remember there's difference between freezed FMRTE test and actual game, you just need to handle this plus many have noticed that popular training schedules leave your players dead too, even with load only for fully fit players
Lapidus said: Removing Take More Risks across all position won't make any difference because there's "Pass Into Space" TI that automatically turns on Take More Risks PI for all positions. Expand
I just don't think there's a correlation between Pass TI and PI. Like with Run at defense TI which don't override dribbling PIs. Just it's pretty easy to check the difference in amount of dribbles with PI on/off when TI is turned on, and not that easy with passes.
keithb said: With good teams this is amazing. With a big underdog the PI's give the ball away all the time, so many long balls up to no-one and then easy counter's for the opposition. Expand
I'd just remove Take more risks PI across all positions. Dribble more is OK even for underdogs.
Since IWB finally work I wanna try 442 with double volante.
When we need to make a difference I'd just go with switching Volantes to attack, but it leaves huge holes behind still, so it must be only situational, or if you're much stronger side in need to break the parking lot. Moving d-line higher + switching IWBs to attack helps too.
WIth volantes on support it's just more a less conservative style without any all-out-attack approach.
Seem DW is even more buffed. Still it will be a slight headache to teach players that position, cuz we’re lacking in natural MR/L, but this pays off. Great stuff
I definitely like them more in Zinchenko style

Changed SPs
Removed underlaps
Standard line + Drop off
Anchor on DM position

Removed Underlaps and Focus Flank
Fixed positions on SPs (oh, how I hate SI for this, who'd have know)
One Volante to DLP (de), 2nd to attack + Move into channels
Removed Cross from byline from DW
BPDs on cover
+Dribble more on IWB

wb/rwb is way more easier to retrain since they have strong foot for that side, which is rare nowadays for attacking wingers

nah, the point is just to check if cautious can still work
wanna see if this can progress forward due to definite improvements in AM zone after patch
DM zone on defensive duty to give some balance with attacking CWBs
difference between home and away went even crazier tho
yup, mb it's a combination of high d-line and positive mentality plus the tactic doesn't have anyone at center midfield to disrupt counters
