all players tackle hard, IFs to stay narrow, WBs to stay wide, BPD dribble more
SPs can't be described without a shitload of screenshots tho :)
Steelwood said: So I think it's time to draw a close on this tactic since I can only take a 4-2-3-1 so far and there are lots of formations that perform better in testing. So, here is Woodball FINAL.

It is based on @Delicious tactics but still includes my idea of no player instructions to see how it would do. The only player roles that have been changed are the two volantes because I've seen it do well in tactics at the top of the table.

Watford got 97 points as well as Birmingham also getting 97 points. However, Birmingham lost in the playoff final. So why am I bigging up this tactic so much if it is doing worse than my previous attempts.

The simple answer is because it's not. With Watford it equals my personal best at expected points from the simplified version uploaded previously. With Birmingham it beats the tally from that tactic by two.

This will probably be the last edition of Woodball that I upload.

You still have Get stuck in, so it will help even w/o tackle PIs
MemorizableUsername said: Guess it's time to figure out a 4-3-3 tactic:D

it's like all CM roles are underperforming
even CM itself which should add a lot of pressing, with mezzalas still being main choice
slightly tweaked 442

Now I wanna really flat, not meta with double DMs, and with MR/L IFs aka Wide Playmakers

VOLsup to MEZatt
WBatt to CWBsup
IWatt to WPsup
standard width
removed play out of D
added underlaps

and v2.1 with support and attack being swapped between WPs and Mez

It would organize queue for sure. Now it's very random timing to wait in the queue jumping from couple of hours (which is very rare) to 2-3 days
gz :)
btw, I bet no1 сould guess what team gave Pool those Ls at 2 runs
hint: it been mentioned at tactics name at arena

Milakus said: Hi, @opq.

What the difference between 'roaming mess', 'even more roaming mess' and 'roaming mess mez'?

Can you share any result?

Tnx.

it's above, I'm just f..d up post as couldn't upload screenshots somehow
"even more" is for teh lulz only with swapping DM to Regista
main version is with CMsup, mez - with mezzalas obviously :)
Roaming Mess

Main change is at the tactic's name itself - I just gave roam to almost every position except GK, BPD and DM (in "even more" version DM -> Regista, so he roams too)
It's exact opposite approach from what I use with my "cross" tactics: flanks set to shoot less and cross less + work ball into box TI

Central trio is more on supporting role, without forward runs, so less option as 2nd wave, but more stable

GJ!
for someone he knows who NOT THIS STERIL version
sadly, it can't be 3 Volantes at once, so at least you'll get 2 of them xD
it wouldn't be me if i didn't try to sterilize tho, so AM goes to CMat, still it's more then attacking role
MemorizableUsername said: Inspired to pick up my old 3ATB tactic to tweak it around, some early test results

its kinda hard to find suitable players for WCB role, so I just gave up on it
tried them too
MemorizableUsername said: God speed man, getting a reliable 3ATB tactic is the hardest so far

it's not that hard, u ONLY need 3 good CBs and at least 1 decent for rotation xD
WBs are crucial, but everyone can cross the ball in this ME really, just not everyone can def properly

Pool run with main
sub WBs with 19 and 17 assists
Aight, going back to real testing and not finding if something is just cosmetics or not :)

2 versions of balanced 3412
1: pretty base
2: when we're comfortably winning just to stop WBs from going byline and prevent unnecessary risk

added hold position for DMs to not reverting them in def mode but still be a little cautious with their movement as we already have 5 men upfront
going through center as we're on strong side here due to player count but still with overlaps for help from WBs
distribution just by rolling out to CBs as there were many longthrows to flanks where WBs were already under pressure getting the ball
removed Tackle harder PI from AFs as this really no need to, as they mainly intercept balls and not killing opposing defs anyway

PS. it's AM and not SS just because my AMs at main save are slow turtles and would be awful SS. Could be easily swapped.
Don't swap WBs to CWBs as you already have many players at central zones, and CWBs tend to move in half flanks often, so u just lose width which sometimes is crucial to stretch defense.
Sane said: @opq Maybe it's worth testing tweaks with trap inside/outside, tweak with a medium block and tweak with tight marking?

yeah, but my queue for test this solely things is already not that fast :)
poirer xiv + step up more
poirer xiv + be expressive
poirer xiv + play out of D
